Perfect Actor To Play 'Q' in nuTNG

For whatever reason, I see the Old Spice Guy as more the Star Wars character type.

But isn't this why he'd be perfect for NuTrek?

Puckish disdain? Niall Matter does that all the time as Zane on Eureka.

Christopher Eccleston would be awesome but that's pretty much cheating...

Stephen Fry or Hugh Laurie would be incredible...maybe both, two Q's taking turns tormenting nuPicard? That would be hilarious.

Bruce Campbell has the right amount of wit, humor and ego in his portfolio to make a great Q.

See Army of Darkness (Ash), Burn Notice (Sam Axe) or Sky High's Coach Boomer/Sonic Boom/"Gym Teacherman" for a few examples.

Even Tom Baker wasn't a jokester.

If you want a teacher who's only had one girlfriend, or maybe two, that's up to you.

I'd rather have someone who finds the whole sex thing a joke.

Stephen Fry would be better, he's lofty.
