Just want to say, I loved the new movie.

I found this short parody script of it amusing:

Uh, actually, it comes off far more snide against people who didn't like the movie.

I thought it was fun, nice one.

Particularly liked the: "He convinces Kirk to turn his life around and join star fleet in just 2 minutes of conversation."

Well, clearly that wasn't true; the guy was freaking miserable. Hanging out in bars, fighting, chasing skirts is not a career. Two minutes and a great offer to turn his life around from somebody who had faith in him was what it took.

#He always had the oppourtunity to join starfleet, so something was up. If his scores were so good other people must have encouraged him to do something with his life.

I guess all those other people didn't invoke the name of his father. That's what sold the young Kirk on the idea of doing something with his life.
