Memory Alpha says that some of Jeremy Kemp's dialogue (as Robert Picard) in "Family" was overdubbed by Ian Abercrombie. Is this true? If so, why was it done?

I don't see any citations given on MA. Did you ask the same question five years ago?
Y'know, I watched this episode not long ago, there were some places it sounded like an overdub. Maybe right after the mudfight?
