Over-Used Net Expressions

Instead of "Wow... just wow." I'm going to start using "I am stunned, just stunned! Stunned is the only way to describe how...
stunned I am!"

Thank you, Blanch.

My first thought on this topic was "Pwned." If I never see that again, I won't shed any tears about it.

What I really don't get is people pronouncing the word "powned" too.

I originally pronounced it that way because I had no idea what the fuck it was. I still pronounce it that way out of habit. But really, I don't ever speak it out loud, so I'm really just pronouncing it in my head.

Up until about a month ago, I though QFT meant "Quite F*cking True". Is it sad that I assigned it a meaning that was worse than the real one?

I'd like to think of it as more creative.

It's like WWJD. I prefer to think of it as "What Would Janeway Do". :bolian:

Combine it with mine, and you have a startling look into the seventh level of Hell.

The Internet has given rise to a horribly disturbing trend: The horrific "third." Example:

I think that Christian Bale is not only the best actor working today, but also the most adorable.

Seconded.

Thirding this!

God damn it, Internet, "second" is a verb meaning "to assist or support!" "Third" is not a verb! It has no such meaning! Stop doing this, you miscreants!
You may well be tired of seeing it, but it's sort of pointless to blame the internet for something which I can assure you was going on before even ARPANET was up and running.

One which can be hung squarely on the internet is the practice of posting "First!" in the Comments section of blogs and online news articles. (Half the time, it's not the first response, anyway, which only makes it look more retarded than it was to begin with.)
