Osama Bin Laden is Dead

Well, I didn't make that one. It was posted in TNZ by two different people at roughly the same time, so I'm assuming it was created somewhere else.

Well, well, well, well, WELL!

"What happens in TNZ stays in TNZ"...eh?

But hey--tonight, I'm happy enough to let it go! :techman:

Hey, tonight I'm happy enough to still not give a shit about your inaccurate understanding of the rules! :techman:

And I'M happy enough not to ask you for clarifi--

Aw, wait a minute....

Everybody sing:

America...
America...
America, FUCK YEAH!
Coming again, to save the motherfucking day yeah,
America, FUCK YEAH!
Freedom is the only way yeah,
Terrorist, your game is through, 'cause now you have to answer to
America, FUCK YEAH!
So lick my butt, and suck on my balls,
America, FUCK YEAH!
What you going to do when we come for you now,
it’s the dream that we all share; it’s the hope for tomorrow

FUCK YEAH!

Well, well, well, well, WELL!

The rule is about not carrying fights, grudges, and insults over from TNZ. It's not against the rules to share articles or images and harmless things like that.

Who fucking cares whose watch he was killed under? The fucker is dead dead dead!!!

Indeed, this is not a political issue. This is a deep rooted patriotic issue. You don't fuck with America the way he did and get away with it.

That's how I feel. The lion's share of the credit goes to the Joint Special Operations Command, to General Petraeus, and the many others in the military and intelligence communities who were on the ground and made this happen.

S7--did not mean to get you choked up. :-/

Way to not make it a political issue.

I have not been Obama's greatest supporter, but even I have enough of a sense of fair play to give the guy credit where credit is due. And you are acting like his involvement was merely incidental.

It is comments like yours that make me less and less interested in voting Republican.

First thing Obama's ever done that pleased me. But if he doesn't get the economy going, this will be yesterday's news next year.

This is a very important moment for many people. They keep pointing out the ages of the people outside the WH. These were people who were ten, twelve, or so when they saw the events of 9/11. How the events of that day, of the years that followed, seeing older siblings, neighbors, friends have gone off to war, some to never return...

Bin laden was a modern day boogie man, a true evil who crushed the rose colored glasses on this generation of American children. What it must feel for them to hear that the fucker got taken out.

Ah...the past few pages have hardly been one-sided in politicizing this. And, what Nerys said hardly, I think, qualifies as "not giving him credit". She said the lion's share belongs to our troops--and it does.

Nonetheless, Obama is the one in command. It's his responsibility--and he does indeed deserve the credit as such.

That isn't a slam against Obama. Nor is it credit towards Bush. More than anything, I'm wearing my "military kid" hat, and I want to make sure that we don't forget what our armed forces have done for us and how they've put their lives on the line to bring this to pass. As I said upthread, I really don't think this is something that either president could have had that much influence over other than putting the right people in the right place to do the job. For that part, both presidents certainly get credit. But our military, to me, gets the biggest credit by far, for actually taking it and making it happen.

The economy's a pain in the ass. It took a long time to get this way, and it's going to take a long time to get out of it. We're actually doing pretty good, all things considered.

^ Will the last three of you please not be so reasonable? PK and Bonz are cute when they're angry and I'm trying to feed off that as much as possible. :techman:

I'm angry? I must have missed a memo. Dude, I'm SMILING tonight. :)

I would kiss you, but then the resulting pain inflicted on the side of my face would make it impossible for me to enjoy solid food for the next few days. :ouch:

That said, you're right, let's just be Americans tonight.
