I think it is a insult to the Star Trek Fandom.

Because Orange Man Bad.If it is indeed copied, I consider it a nice homage. If it wasn't copied then I consider it a happy coincidence.
Why do you find it insulting?
You're welcome to feel that way.I think it is a insult to the Star Trek Fandom.
Wish I could hit the like button more than once.Oh. For. Pity's. Sake.
This again???? After all this time?
The space Force logo is a simple redesign of the EXISTING logo used by the USAF Space Command since 1982. Delta shapes have been used by Air Force logo designers since the 1940s. The delta shape used in this new one has been around since at least 1949. Military unit logos have been both shield-shaped and round, with the name around the border, since forever. I've designed several myself for the defense contractor I worked for for 38 years - some using existing elements of past logos for continuity.
When the Starfleet delta logo was first designed, they intentionally adapted the NASA delta to invoke the US space program. So Star Trek 'borrowed' from a real-world organization's logo first.
If you want to accuse someone of stealing, Star Trek 'stole' the NASA logo and reworked it first.
There's no reason for outrage; there's nothing to this crap.
Can we stop this nonsense now please?
In the same way Tolkien ripped off Rowling.Oh. For. Pity's. Sake.
