Openly Straight?

I imagine a great deal of people don't know I'm gay or bi, though I suspect some of them do. But in any case, I very much doubt that my sexual orientation or anyone else's has ever been the topic of people's conversations. The truth is, most people don't give a shit one way or the other.

Most people don't but the ones who do are very loud and annoying.

I am not wearing a name tag tiara. And if you want men to stop hitting on you neither should you. :vulcan:

:rommie:

Okay. Single straight girls wear nametag tiaras. Single gay men wear nametag cod pieces. Married people wear potato sacks.
:(

Why can't us straight guys wear nametag codpieces too?

*sigh*

Fine, but we need a way to differentiate the gay codpieces from the straight codpieces. I'm thinking sequence.

Can one be openly straight?

I say this because in this day in age many straight people...mostly men are thought of as being gay by other straight people...this has happen to me...ofcourse no gay person has ever thought I was gay. Personally I don't see why other straight people make it their business to determine weather or not someone is gay or straight but that is a different issue.

I am openly staright...deal with it! :guffaw:

Dammit.

Lots of people assume I'm gay for whatever reason. I have no idea why, nor do I know why they're trying to attach a sexual preference to me in the first place.

I am openly straight.

DAMMIT!

I don't know what other straight guys in public think, but there are plenty of times when gay men haven't been sure of me so they test out the waters with me to see if I'll make a move to let them know if I'm gay.

I always assumed that if I were gay, I would know the secret handshake to reveal my gayness to them, but since I'm not, I don't know it.

At least, I hope that's how it all works, otherwise I'd hate to think I'm being a flirt and teasing them only to not make the move.

Oh, and more stuff needs to have secret handshakes. That would be fun.

tl;dr: Also straight.

DAMMIT!!!

I've often thought things would be soooo much easier if people wore something to indicate whether they were single or taken. I hate trying to find some roundabout way of bringing it up... for some reason, I can never just ask. I guess I don't want my interest to be overly obvious if it turns out to not be mutual (or if she's just unavailable).

As for being "openly straight"... eh, I don't mind having a bit of an air of mystery about me, and sometimes that includes my sexuality. On occasion, I kind of enjoy leaving people guessing. I know there have been a few people who have assumed I was gay -- depending on my mood, I might correct them, or I might just say nothing.

It usually seems to be other straight people thinking I'm gay, though. I can't say I've had any gay guys hit on me... well, except for that one time I was in a gay bar, but frankly, I think I would've been a little offended if nobody there made a pass at me. ;)

Do iPhones have a Gay-dar app?

They do, actually.

It's called Grindr. You put a profile in it and, when open, it alerts you to other gays in the area that are running the program. If you like what you see you can say hi, and if that person likes you then you can walk the 50 odd feet or whatever and meet up.

Indy, never used it. Never wanted to use it.

Hey man, i make no secret of my sexuality ... ;)

I really want people to start wearing nametags with their sexual preference and marital status on them in big bold letters.

That takes the fun out of it. :p

Anyhow, I don't consider myself anything. I just go for whomever I'm attracted to.

I mostly like feminine people. Including males.
Here's such an example of the sorta males I like

Gorgious, I say. :bolian:

And, of course you got the genetic females.

And hands off, I saw her first. :bolian:

And, of course, there's transgendered girls.

Come on, guys, you know you'd want her. :D

Also, my very ever first girl friend, she was an intersexed girl, meaning she had both parts down there...and lemme tell you...my time with her very rather....educational.
If you wanna know what she looked like, watching 1998's Lost in Space, she was a dead ringer for Lacey Chabert, just give her green eyes. Ahhh, how I miss her.

Now, there's some masculine guys I find attractive, of course....John Barrowman's HOT! :bolian:

So, call my whatever you think is right....sexual orientation, to me, is rather quaint.

Anyone who needs to know my orientation will be made aware. :rommie:

I think I'm pretty openly straight, although several of my relatives would always imply that I was Gay because I preferred the Arts & Sciences to Sports. I'm not sure if they really believed it, though, or were just trying to manipulate me.

I refuse to wear a potato sack.

And I've had to turn down guys before. It probably doesn't help that I instinctively flirt back no matter who is initiating, even if I'm not interested. I should do something about that.

Take advantage of it. At a club, some punk rocker type of dude was checking me out. And all I did was dance with him, and he bought me a drink. So it was win-win. :bolian:

Well, much as with gay men, to be an openly straight guy, one would have to live the straight lifestyle, i.e. have sex with girls. I think getting that out of the way would pretty much stop the chatter.

I'm not openly anything in terms of my sexuality, I don't think I come across as being one or the other really, been hit on and complimented by males and females, straight and gay, complimented anyone I cared to for their looks/personality etc

We could try actual cod.... :shifty:

As for me, pretty much everyone knows I'm straight. The only time anyone's ever questioned this is twice: once I got hit on by a gay guy in a bar, and my last GF - in the process of breaking up with me - accused me of being gay because I wanted to wait till we got married (we were, at the time, engaged) before having sex.

Aww, but fornication is so much more fun.
