Who actually did all the artistic and skilled work to create these models?

Q: I want to use part of someone else’s work in some of my own. How do I give them proper credit?
A: This is a case where cluttering up the image is not a matter of choice. PROPER CREDIT MUST APPEAR ON THE IMAGE for elements that you yourself did not create. If you like to render 3D fleet battles containing dozens of starship meshes by other authors then every single one of them must be credited. If you don't know who created the element you want to use then at least acknowledge that its creator is unknown so there’s no confusion that you might be claiming it as your own. The format is fairly typical: “Enterprise mesh by Dennis Bailey” or “Photomanipulation by Captain Robert April.” This also applies to image elements from sources such as the NASA website or sites with astronomical images.

Indeed. It'd be so much easier to take this thread seriously if The Castellan could be bothered to credit the original artists who created the models he's using for his own purposes here.

Cutting it a little close there, The Castellan :cardie:. Just keep an eye on the board rules, including those regarding image credits - not such a stickler for the items that one buys, from one of the various Poser or DAZ-related content stores, but please credit the creators of the free content, for certain - they've worked hard for that much, at least.

The Castellan, I can't help but notice that on the shadow on that door, Cassy doesn't have anything (umm) "dangling" between her legs.

Did Cassy have some surgery?

:)

No, she did not, maybe she's just really taut and tight, or was thinking of some hot chick or dude.

The Castellan, I love that wall element in the background of that shot. Any chance you've posted the mesh for it anyplace that I could download it and use it in my own renders?

I think I got it from ShareCG.com, I'll let you know once I remember. :D

Oh... so it isn't yours?
Funny, 'cause I didn't see it credited to anyone else.

I remind you... yet again...

Dennis has quoted this to you, as have I (both here and in the past), as have several others. In fact, you've had it pointed out to you several times in this thread alone!

I'm utterly amazed that you continue to post in this art forum, when you clearly have such little regard for your fellow forum members, in that you don't give credit where it's due, and think yourself above the rules.

You are too narrow-minded, chard. Rules are so mainstream. Down with the rule orthodoxy!

Open your mind, man, the truth is out there! (and so are 3D meshes to steal!)

Okay, before this gets (further) out of hand, let's put this 'on hold' - The Castellan, please contact me via private message and we can get the credit situation worked out, since it appears that you're not inclined to take heed of the board rules when they are pointed out.
