One of my main characters

Cassy about to use her stingbeam. It's a diminutive weapon in appearance, only. It's lethally effective at close range, and adequate at medium range, Cassy carries it as her main weapon of choice, since she notices that most folks who carry much larger weapons tend to think with them first instead of their brains.

Thanks. :)

You don't make anything in Daz, it's just a studio.....it's like a VCR or a DVD player, you just use whatever you put into it.

Or like a doll house...you pull out a doll, put whatever clothes on it you have, etc etc.

Closest to making things is like a ship parts set a guy named Starkiller made, it's TOS style ship parts that you can put together in whatever way you want. Also, you can take Daz people, like Mike4 or Vic4 and mold them about with morphs, textures, and so on. Or you can change colors or make certain bits invisible.

I think a program like Hexagon is more likely able to be used to actually make things, but don't just take my word for it, since I never used it.

Daz is pretty much similar to poser, but don't use dynamic clothes on that, since it won't work. The Starkiller set is on deviant art, and a few add-ons to that, like the Cross Bow class pieces, can be found on ShareCG.

Cool Daleks :)

Yes, Sam Therapy is a top notch digital modeler and very generous sharing his efforts with the community.

Sincerely,

Bill
Yep, though the 3rd picture, was a modified version of the current Daleks, and was made by Mechmaster.
It'd be nice if your images were actually accompanied by credits of those people whose work contributed to making the image possible in the first place, rather than after the fact in exchanges like the above. You know, kinda like the rules of this forum suggest should always be done anyway?

Q:
I want to use part of someone else’s work in some of my own. How do I give them proper credit?
A: This is a case where cluttering up the image is not a matter of choice. PROPER CREDIT MUST APPEAR ON THE IMAGE for elements that you yourself did not create. If you like to render 3D fleet battles containing dozens of starship meshes by other authors then every single one of them must be credited. If you don't know who created the element you want to use then at least acknowledge that its creator is unknown so there’s no confusion that you might be claiming it as your own.

Thinking of doing a miniset of stories which are pretty much like ToS, but with furries....akin to Star Fox or Bucky O'Hare, and wondering what Constitution Class name ya think would work for them, excluding Enterprise?

USS Defurant? or Furager? they dont really work.

Excelsiyiff?

the ISS Fursecutor! :rommie:

Had to reload Daz, and I need to find all the needed stuff in order to open my Cassy model file, if you don't have them all, the file won't work properly. Until then, I'm going to play with Cassy as she looked before her makeover last year. So, enjoy Cassy in her non-purple goodness for the time being. :D
