Spoilers Once Upon a Time season 6

Sad to say, I didn't bother to watch the last three episodes. Is it getting any better?

I liked the story of Snow and David meeting before they "actually" met.

I guess this is OUaT's version of LadyHawk. Sigh.

I really want Regina to just take out the Evil Queen!

Oh, man. I'm liking this season, but an entire episode about the Evil Queen going after Snow White? In Season Six? And that's all it's about?

They wrapped up the Jekyll/Hyde storyline earlier on, and the Evil Queen didn't really prove to be that much of a menace.

The winter finale wasn't very exciting. I thought Emma was a complete wuss in her "fantasy" Enchanted Forest timeline. Regina had to kill Charming and Snow to prove that Emma's reality was an illusion, and yet it was Regina's hesitation to fight "fantasy" Henry that finally convinced Emma that Regina was telling the truth. Morpheus (Rumple and Belle's grown-up son) doesn't seem like a big threat for the second half of the season, but we'll see.

Please, please, please tell me that's the end of the Evil Queen story. I'm so sick of it. So repetitive. Speaking of repetitive, I'm also getting sick of these constant returns to the Enchanted Forest.
I'm still disappointed they did away with Mister Hyde and the land of lost people so quickly. Why did they drop that so quickly? It wasn't amazing but at least it wasn't the same damn thing we've been seeing it over and over again. I also wanted a LOT more Aladdin stuff. Maybe Jafar will be the big bad of the second half?
I don't understand why they keep recycling themselves over and over like this. You have the entire library of Disney to steal from. Do new stories! Stop doing the Queen and Rumple over and over! :wah:

I'm getting the impression that something happened behind the scenes that caused them to drop the Mister Hyde and Untold Stories plot, and then they were left fumbling for scripts. Everything seems so chaotic and confused.

Both of those stories make me very happy, Ariel and Tinkerbell are two of my favorite long term recurring character. My only real problem with I, Zombie was that it stole Rose McIver from OUAT.
I finally got caught up on the current season a couple weeks ago, so now I'm really looking forward to the show's return in March.
Do we know how long we'll be in the Wish World or whatever they're calling it?

‘Once Upon A Time’: Current Narrative To Wrap At End Of Season 6; Will There Be Season 7?

ABC’s Once Upon A Time was a big breakout when it launched in fall 2011. The inventive fairytale drama from Lost alums Adam Horowitz and Edward Kitsis became an instant ratings and pop culture hit and fit right into the Disney wheelhouse, weaving into its narrative classic characters from the company’s library. Six seasons in, Once‘s ratings have slipped but it remains a DVR and digital viewing power, rakes in international sales for ABC Studios and is the epitome of Disney corporate synergy. As a legacy show, it will be given a proper sendoff by ABC, so a decision whether to end the series or keep going has to be made early — as in very soon.

“Eddy and Adam came in and talked with me right before the holiday about what some of their potential ideas might be for Season 7,” ABC entertainment president Channing Dungey told Deadline at TCA today. “There was some interesting stuff, we gave them some feedback, and they are now working and are going to come back and sit with me in a couple of weeks. I think that, having had worked on Lost, they have a very good sense of the engagement with fans and wanting to end the story in the right way.”

It will be after that meeting that Dungey and her team will make a decision whether there will be a Season 7 of Once Upon A Time. But “regardless of what we decide to do at the end of this season, I think they think they would put a little bit of a bow here, and then there is a next piece that comes after that, so they are trying to figure out what that is and how that works.”

Midseason Premiere tonight ...

Edit: Well, that wasn't a bad episode. Regina did succeed in retrieving Emma from the fantasy Enchanted Forest created by the Evil Queen's wish as shown in the midseason finale. What's more, she brought Robin along to Storybrooke, or a version of him anyway. Like Regina herself, that somehow didn't feel right to me at first because as we know, the real Robin is dead. Still, she deserves her own happiness, and I'm glad she's given a second chance at love.

It was great to see August Booth/Pinnochio again, but I thought he was transformed into a child several years ago. Now he's an adult working in his father's shop.

Gideon at this point comes off more as an angsty, misguided pretty boy than a villain. I say misguided because while he doesn't see himself as a bad guy, he plans to kill Emma and become a Savior who could defeat the Black Fairy in another realm. If he truly believes in good, how hard is it to ask the people of Storybrooke to aid him in his quest? Or maybe the Black Fairy will figure into the story later on.

Once upon a time when things were rotten,
Not just food, but also kings were rotten.
Everybody kicked the peasants,
Things were bad and that ain't good,
Then came Robin Hood (Ba-bahh!)

"Soon a band of merry men he'd gotten,
They wore outfits made of plain green cotton,
Helping victims was their business.
Boy oh boy was business good --
Good for Robin Hood!

"They laughed, they loved, they fought, they drank,
They jumped a lot of fences.
They robbed the rich, gave to the poor --
Except what they kept for expenses!

"So when other legends are forgotten
We'll remember back when things were rotten.
Yay for Robin Hood

4 episodes makes you an Alum?

Andy was in a movie called Walter which had the best plot. Walter, the secret son of God, was told (by dad, at a very young age) to decide who was going to hell and who was going to heaven. His day job was as a drone at a small movie theatre, where he's judging every dumb bastard that comes through.

:)

It's hilarious watching him think "heaven, heaven, heaven, Hell, heaven, hell... " rapid fire allocating the throngs final destination.

(The movie is unfortunately mostly not about this side gig, however.)

I really wish that Regina would emerge with her evil self. She's been acting like a shadow of herself all season long.

Why do people keep saying that Regina had brought Robin back with her? She really had no choice in the matter. It was Emma who had suggested that Robin join them. And it was Robin who made the decision to do so, despite Regina's initial misgivings.
