Okay, what about a remake of JMS's Crusade?

Although not as bad as I had first thought, Crusade would have to be completely retooled. I hated the captain (what is with JMS and hiring wooden white guys for his lead roles). Ditch the music, and redesign the look of the show...oh what the hell it'll never be remade anyway...

Frankly the concept behind Crusade never made a whole lot of sense to me. What's the big deal with the Excalibur, when the entire Ranger fleet could have been out searching?

It was only touched on two or three times but that's exactly what the Ranger's were doing (along with their other ISA duties.) The idea would be that the Rangers would chase down leads and when something promising came up they'd call in the Excalibur, with all the advanced Human/Minbari/Vorlon tech and a small army of IPX experts.

Well, I personally hated the stuff that was popular with fans and loved the stuff that JMS was gonna do away with.

I didn't like Galen, I didn't like the over-used plot of stolen shadow tech, conspiracies, breaking away from Earth etc, and apparently that's what would've taken centre stage in Season Two.

I hated the music, "different" does not always mean "good". The acting was terrible, the dialogue was blah and I tended to enjoy the TNT episodes more than the JMS ones (although Racing the Night and Each Night I Dream of Home were great episodes).

I liked the story of the planetary virus. I wished that was gonna continue on, that the Excalibur would be forced out of the area and couldn't finish what they had started.

Plus, showing Dr Franklin proved the virus was cured, so bad move on that part.

I would be up for a complete reboot. If not in the B5 universe then take the story elsewhere.
