OK what happened to the Runabout?

Kira steals Runabout and heads for the planet near the DMZ and subsequently kills Prin and the Defiant comes looking and finds her. Where did they park the shuttle? The Defiant doesn't look large enough to accomodate a Runabout and they didn't have it in a TB.

A) someone piloted it back.

or

B) they set it to auto pilot itself back.

I'd go for A). Seems more likely.

The Defiant could have just latched onto it with a tractor beam and hauled it back.

The end shot just showed the Defiant, and no other craft behind ir or around it. Just the Defiant.

How big is the Defiant? How does it compare to a runabout?

The Defiants shuttles are smaller than normal ones, so the runabout wouldnt have fit inside. Heck, they mention in Voyager that the Intrepid class doesnt fit Runabouts.

So yeah, some 1 pip probably got the duty of flying it back to DS9
