Oh, (Big) Brother!

Paulie is the pawn; he deliberately threw the HoH competition. Paul wants Paulie to win the Veto competition, take himself off, so Paul can backdoor Da'Vonne. I think he's fine with either Da'Vonne or Bridgette being evicted.

I'm okay with any of those three leaving.

As for the "care package"... do they all get a new pair of socks?

Gah! 'Sketch' is not an accepted noun form of the adjective 'Sketchy' meaning 'Questionable, insincere'! And using it that way is totally 'douche'!

Sketchy is LITERALLY becoming the most misused word in the English language.

To me, "sketch" means a drawing. I sketch nearly every day of my life.

The first time I heard "sketchy" was on a soap opera, and dismissed it as yet one more bizarre American pop culture "word."

I usually hear the word 'Sketchy' in reference to something that seems inherently unsafe. "That ladder looks a little sketchy". When it's applied to humans it tends to mean somebody who is untrustworthy in a dangerous way. "I wouldn't follow that guy down a dark alley, he seems a bit sketchy." But, that's the extent of manipulation of that word I can stomach. It does *not* apply to just anyone who seems to have ulterior motives. And the quality of being sketchy is not "Sketch". Using it that way comes off to me as the noxious behavior of trying too hard to be cute and memorable.

I am so so fine with Day gone. Never a fan of hers and I don't get how she couldn't just say: "Hey, I got caught" when she was trying to play every angle of the house. All I hope is that she is not brought back anymore.

And hopefully Michelle is next. She's not a good player, and I am very tired of her crying and whining all the time. She reminds me of "Waaaamber" from umpteen seasons ago: very stupid player, and constantly crying about something or other.

Also, I hope they do manage to get Victor out in the double-elimination. He is disgusting.

The Mama's Boy thing explains a lot about Paul. He thinks everything he does is awesome because nobody's ever told him it's not.

I have to wonder what his motivation is for this show, anyway. Just for the challenge? The house his family is living in certainly isn't a rundown shack. In my city, people who live like that are pretty well-off.

I know that these days, a lot of houseguests are recruited. Perhaps they recruited him?

I think he deserves props for pretty much escaping what was certain eviction right after Victor for being with him and Jozea to being in a pretty comfortable spot at the moment.

Yeah, sometimes people can behave like jerks when they're egged on by a partner, and be better when they're not around.

I'm not liking Paulie much anymore.

Well, this was predictable. More crying and wailing from Michelle, predictable outcome of the competition (would have been nice if Nicole had won, even if she had no plans to use the veto), predictable that nobody was vetoed. I hope they made James mop up the mess he made.

I didn't realize that the 'have-nots' don't get to use the swimming pool.

As I posted on Twitter, Paulie should've taken some pointers from Cody about his social game. Even if you don't like Zakiyah or you disagree with Paul and Victor's choice of target, don't let them know you are looking down your nose at them. If he makes it to the final two and has a bitter jury, he'll lose.

I just read the 'Controversy and criticism' section of the Wikipedia page when I went there to check who got evicted.

So if I have the tally right, Paul and Bronte made racist comments, Corey made homophobic comments, and half the house was bullying the smaller women.

This week aside, this is making me feel like I still have to root for Paulie. Unless he has some live feed assholery I'm unaware of.

Paul and Bronte sound absolutely vile.

Paulie started becoming obnoxious several weeks ago, when he decided to become Paul's twin.

At this point I'm rooting for James.

Wow, where was that arrogant misogynist jerk the first six weeks? Was he keeping it in check because he wasn't feeling in charge or was CBS just not showing it to us? James might be the only one left to root for. Paul is becoming a little more rootable.

Of the guys, James is the only one who is rootable. As for the women, it's a tossup between Nicole and Natalie. I really don't like Michelle.

That "Super Safety" costume is cute.

I missed most of the last episode, so hadn't realized that Zakiyah was evicted. I saw Bridgette's eviction, and talk about clueless. She actually thought she was a threat? They only kept her that long because someone else annoyed them more.

Nicole is a joke this season. In her previous season, I considered her a potential All-Star candidate, but she has turned into the branch on Corey's wooden tree trunk.

Nicole has basic game competence but her attachment to Corey makes her hard to root for this season. I don't have a good sense of Natalie, the camera hasn't really spent a lot of time on her until yesterday.

Paul has his problems but I appreciate how he identified Paulie's behavior as disrespectful and then managed the plan to get rid of him.

Corey's been coming across as a real goon lately; especially after how tickled he seemed with Paulie's misogynistic diatribe the other night.

Paulie's crying fit at the end of the last episode was pitiful. He has had a hand in almost every eviction this season and now he is whining because he's on his way out? He needs to put his big boy pants on and deal with it.

The best players in the history of this show have either not been caught pulling the strings or figured a way out of it when they have been caught. In addition to being a horrible human being, Paulie has self-destructed in a season with weaker players that he could have hoodwinked if he hadn't been such a douchebag.
