OGAM, where are you?

spocksbrain

Lieutenant Commander
Red Shirt
Didn't I read somewhere (maybe on trekmovie.com?) that September was going to be the new April? Well, it's September and Commander Balok hasn't changed his message ... any word?

Exeter will probably be a more satisfying experience. I am certainly looking forward to act three more than I am looking forward to OGAM

If you watch it you watch it if you don't you don't, thats up to you. I gave an update in another thread here is what i wrote:

As for OGAM's status. Part 1 and Part 2 are just about done (minor stuff now). Part 3 still needs some more CGI work completed (because that part has the most compared to the other 2 parts). So we are now trying to gauge the time needed to complete Part 3 so we can release the three parts with out alot time in between them. We are also working on distribution methods and a few other post-completion items.

This is so bad that Exeter's Act Three might actually wind up being released before OGAM.

Dennis--now you are just talkin' CRAZY!

Same here. Nothing against the good people behind OGAM, but once I saw New Voyages' World Enough and Time, OGAM doesn't seem as interesting anymore. As for Exeter, here's hoping. :D

Agreed. I find myself looking forward to more Aurora more than OGaM at the moment. I mean, I hope OGaM will be good 'n all, but I'm really not all that worried as to when it'll be released at this point.

Okay. Let's change the subject from when will it be released - because, we all know, any answer given will most likely be changed several times between now and the actual release. How about how will it be released? Has this been decided? If it's common knowledge and I'm out of the loop, sorry. Please just patronize me. Thanks.

I think it will be eventually, but only after the producer has given up his attempts to make money from it. And that could be a looooong time.

I know I am still eagerly looking forward to this!

Last time they we criticized for not making their announced release date. Many people suggested they just release it when they are done and give no premiere dates....
ummmmmm....
That is exactly what they are doing now and they are still be criticized for that!

Well really, it's the old problem of unringing the bell. Given that some of the Star Trek community are a bit skeptical of Sky Conway, it's only to be expected that any missteps (real or perceived) get a :vulcan:

Me I've pretty much moved on. I'll be much more interested when something concrete happens.

Same here. I was very excited when OGAM was getting ready to air, but now, with all of this going on, I'm not really interested anymore. I'm happy with New Voyages, Starship Exeter and I'm happily anticipating the new Star Trek XI movie, so OGAM is on the backburner now. I can wait as long as necessary, although I have to say too long and I might be completely uninterested.
