Re: Amy Acker

^ I found out it isn't a "real" interview -- apparently, these two are the Aussie version of The Daily Show.

Still, it's bloody hilarious!

Cheers,

Re: Amy Acker

^ Nope it ain't real. The two guys doing that are rather clever. They generally do those skits on a Thursday, at the end of the 7.30 report.

Re: Amy Acker

Today is the 10th anniversary of the webcomic Sluggy Freelance. If you've read it, you probably know how awesome it is. If not, check it out---but make sure you've got a free day or five ahead of you, 'cause it'll take that long to read the archive at this point. And it's kinda like Pringles....

In any event, a few vids thrown together celebrating some of the comic's more memorable storylines:

Dunno how much non-fans will get out of them, but what the heck.

My faith in the youth of America has just been restored, by seeing their creativity in executing this public prank: Link

Re:

Here's a couple of episodes of a cartoon called Q.T. Hush that I used to watch on the Captain Boston Show back around 1971-72. I really wish this would come out on DVD; it was one of my favorites.

Re:

^ I don't remember that cartoon. But I watched the whole thing and it certainly was drawn in the 60's style. So much so I wondered if I had seen it before. It's amazing the film was good enough for them to capture after all these years!

I was wondering if you might remember the Captain Boston Show. It was on Channel 56 at noon, and it was mostly Huckleberry Hound-type cartoons, but they also showed Clutch Cargo and QT Hush.
