I thought some were amusing. It also reminded me of 1981, when some audiences reacted to the following scene with wild applause and chuckling-for-the-right-reasons due to the number of carjackings going on.
Bonus:
(the whole movie is stuffed with first rate suspense and action scenes, perhaps a couple too many, but the rock climbing scene - especially on a larger screen or in a theater - just ends up being more than the sum of its parts. Of course, all the henchman there needed to do was to wait for Bond to climb up and then kick or shoot him again where, in a far weakened condition he'd not have made it, but that's not important right now, and maybe the henchman - whom we love to hate - was itching to expedite his kill anyway, which only helped to add the tension among other things. )
