Two great actors I've seen in numerous shows from the 1960s, but John Hoyt more or less one-ups and stole the show in this scene*. And now, it's time to watch a few episodes of "Gimme A Break"...

* ditto for
the dude operating the third arm

^ Admiral Clancy was not a bitch. (And can we please stop using that word? :sigh: ) In fact, I'd say she was RIGHT.

On a lighter note...

^^ That site even compares non-21st Century Trek to itself with continuity flubs, which is great. Just not as often. Indeed, for one Borg segment he did get a lot of flak for sidestepping Voyager's continuity misfires, which deserved to have been shown. Still, he puts up a lot of entertaining material regardless of nitpicks to his nitpicks. It's one of the few YT channels I still watch.

^Mr Laser Beam is right, or not wrong for sure, in that Major Grin could not need to stoop to the level of
21st century Trek in terms of using profanity as a selling point. ;) But there is a larger issue the video might be trying to make, if not two.The episode was trying to work way too hard to drive in a cheap, ersatz narrative. One needn't be part of "the fandom menace" to see what's obvious. Especially as British Picard has an Irish servant in the 24th century... I'll save the rest for the PIC forum...

Sadly it's not the 17 minute version, and they're almost as good as Cream - but nobody can get close to those cats, which were definitely lightning in a bottle.

(Keeping in mind the hairstyles and clothing were a rebellious-themed response to gender expectations as set up in the preceding decade...)

So iconic and encapsulating an entire era in its mere 2 minutes 58 seconds. I never got into any of their other songs, but this one transcends... the visuals are pretty cool too.

Smothers Brothers + The Association = Fascinating, if not avant-garde and outre, perhaps? (We know the former's show got booted because of being too controversial...) Cool Music but some jokes did not hold up... which may have been the Smothers' intent...

I know I posted "First Guy to Ever Own a Cat" in the Feline Follies thread, but there is a whole series of these. This one was just posted a few days ago, and I thought I'd share it here.
