Not for the kiddies or anyone under 25, or anyone who thinks Star Trek Discovery is the best and most particularly researched show ever.

...if you laughed anywhere in reaction to it then it's surely not too terribly bad?

...along with the nastiness...

(And, true, TNG had its moments like "Deja Q" changing words like "perigee" (and not Doctor Who where someone mighty say "Peri, gee...")

Was he saying "Mikey Spock"? :rommie:

Yup! An earlier episode (#4?) I believe has him explaining his beliefs on saying "Mikey-Spock". I think #6 discussed more on how Discovery "steals" from TOS in order to (paraphrased) "rob Kirk of all his firsts and give them to DSC instead". (a prequel made in part for existing fans, it's par for the course. Not stealing from canon to rob Kirk.) It's all a long saga of episodes, some points I don't agree with, but he's certainly amusing... and if nothing else he does explain the science behind the spore drive in delicious detail here:

Thanks for the details. He generally hits upon issues I have with STD... ones that are deep enough, I'm not willing to pay the CBS subscription to see the series. I was hoping that the producers would eventually wise up into the 2nd season, and start thinking screenplays through to aviod glaring holes. I don't have high hopes for it. It seems the show is stuck with this ridiculous "spore drive."

Sometimes we can all use a hug... even if you're a chicken and a little boy is offering the hugs. ;)

"Gilligan's Island Discovery"?! LOL

(It's a bit after 9 minutes 20 seconds in... right before "I Love Lucy Discovery"...)

One of my favorite scenes in Back the Future. I love how the music in the scene is used to foreshadow the tension while the characters are still oblivious to the danger. Best delivery of "Holy shit" ever.

Hoping this show makes it to Blu-Ray one day, there's nothing embarrassing about it that I recall... and why weren't teachers this caring and supportive of students back in my day? I mean it's just a TV show, but still...
