Official TrekBBS Fantasy Football League!

My team played like shit today, and had my top WR on a bye and my top RB injured yet again this week. Also picked the wrong QB to start, but that would not have mattered with how poorly I did this week.
I was surprised to see your team scoring so low, but after seeing the full box score, it made sense. You had the bad luck of having Bush go down during the week you could least afford it. I'm sure you'll bounce back, though. And if you're interested in a RB to replace Bush, I'm willing to part with Jonathan Stewart for a WR.

Unless things go well in MNF, I could end up with all four of my teams losing. I've already lost in my two money leagues, and unless Randy Moss finally has a huge game, my Yahoo team will be going belly up as well. I have a fairly large lead in the ESPN league, but my opponent has his QB and RB going tonight, so there's no guarantee on that one either.

Well, I have manipulated my roster so that most of my starting lineup is no longer on bye, and I have managed to avoid having to drop my "super stars". And, by doing that, I have just brought myself up to dead even with The Habs Fan.

Because during that week I had 2 players injured and 3 on a bye. Someone had to go, and I chose Colston over Willie Parker, as Terrell Owens was still half-decent. Wish I hadn't done that now.

Well, I sucked today. I didn't really want to since I think I'm on the cusp of a possible playoff birth but that's the way it goes I guess. It seems like that's my kind of luck always when participating in Trekbbs themed stuff.

They could just be busy. It would be one thing if they paid to play.

Fantasy football doesn't take a lot of time. Being busy (or out of internet contact) may work as an excuse for one week, but when you ignore your team all season, it doesn't cut it. None of our leagues have money riding on them, but when people sign up and ignore their team, it can skew the standings and affect the entire league. In the AFC Yahoo league, Tigh's Eye's last activity was on June 23 (which I assume was the day he signed up his team). He's been an active player in the past, so I'm wondering if he forgot he even had a team.

Anyway, I need big points from RB Chris Johnson tonight for three of my teams. In Yahoo, I have to hope he outruns Dirtbag's RB (Dominic Rhodes) by 1.62 points. An awfully close game there.

There's quite a few close matchups in the AFC Yahoo league- the outcome of three different matches could be decided by Monday's game.

Indeed. I'm not holding out much hope, but I need 12 points off of my tight end and DL tonight, while Habs Fan doesn't have anyone playing. Unfortunately, they're only predicted to give me seven points. Here's hoping I get two more break-out performances tonight!!

I need 58 points between Chris Johnson and Rob Bironas, and that assumes Peyton Manning does absolutely nothing.

Once again, I just wonder why people volunteer to play then ignore their teams.
Yeah, no doubt. We should make people sign a contract, and if they don't follow through then they have to spend a weekend with you. The horror....

Well, a good weekend for the Ken Walter Fan Club! Looks like it should go 3-0, barring some 50-60 point performances by a single player on the other team (or, in the ESPN league, if Marvin Harrison manages to lose me a little over 15 points).

Team is finally managing to look a little better...

Well, I managed to win in both TrekBBS leagues, but I lost both of my matches in my money leagues. I'd prefer it if it was the other way around.

Still hurting for WRs on most of my teams. It's usually RBs that get a little scarce as the season goes on, but this year it seems like there's a dearth of WRs.
