Ok, Hopefully this will work, my first poll. Because only Mods can post these we're thinking we'll try to do one every so often and see how people like them. For ENT's first poll, I thought a good place to start would be to name:

Oh, to vote click on the radial dial, and hit "Submit Vote"

You can view the running poll results. You can also reply to this thread and explain why you made your choice.

For example, I voted for "Minefield" since I think the combination of action and character development, and actual dramatic conflict, produced the most balanced, well written, and evenly performed episode of the series. Good enough to have been done in TNG seasons 3 or 4. :)

My favorite episode of those listed is "Minefield." However, I submitted my vote for "other" because I simply cannot resist Trip and Malcolm's chemistry in "Shuttlepod One." A perfect example of two great actors overcoming B&B's sucky writing work. I tend to think of SP1 as an example of a blind squirrel occasionally finding a nut as far as B&B's influence is concerned.

Moulin Rouge - My vote for best would go to "Shuttlepod One" as well--the best character-driven drama ENTERPRISE has yet produced.

My second favorite episode is also not on the list: "Carbon Creek", which I love for its freshness and originality, as well as, again, its emphasis on character (even if it was mainly guest characters).

So I voted for "other" as well...

Given the list, I voted for Dead Stop. However, my true favorite episode is Vox Sola. It was the episode with the most "Trek" eerie feeling that makes it enjoyable everytime.

I voted for "Broken Bow." I love Trek premieres, and I thought BB was a great episode.

Broken Bow. This is the episode that made me have hope originally for the show. One of the best Star Trek starts ever.

I loved Catwalk best so far ... because Mayweather actually got to do something in it, and thus, Anthony (what a HUNK of burning love, do you gals agree (drool)), got to say more than two throwaway lines in this episode.

Personally, I wanna see more of Mayweather, especially in the blue undies some more (wowzer!)!

I voted for Catwalk, but it's toss up between Minefield, Dead Stop, and that one. Broken Bow was a great opener to the series, but I have to admit that I watched Acquisition a few times because Jeffery Combs' performance is so funny. :D

I voted for Dead Stop. It was written by my two favorite writers and my favorite director for this series and it provoked a lot of intelligent thought and discussion soon after it aired. I liked a lot of the ideas presented in it, such as using humanoid brains to run the station, and the fact that it was completely self-sustaining. Archer showed us how good of a captain he can be, the scenes with Trip and Reed were priceless, and it had a very sci-fi feel to it. The ending especially, was unexpected and creepy at the same time.

Thanks for giving it a shot wS?. Might as well get busy trying to exercise some of the new bells and whistles!

I voted for The Catwalk, for both story, production values and the ensemble work. Dead Stop and Minefield would be a very close second.

That's exactly how I felt.

I guess the next poll, is to give a vote by numbers (if that can be done).

I just hope the trolls don't get ahold of the ability to do polls.

I voted for the Catwalk mainly because Travis got a 'that-a-boy' from Reed and Archer and because Porthos again was a credit to his ship. Now, if they only stop violating the laws of physics (aside from the standard trek ways) in every show.

I voted for "Catwalk". It also had a great "Trek" feel. The crew was allowed to act as if they really knew what they were doing and gave us a chance to see the other 75 or so people on board.

My favorite "little moment" was near the beginning when the ship first entered the storm and came from the best actor on board - Porthos. The Captain told the crew to "hold on to something" - Porthos went for a nice little corner where he could be safe to ride out the moment. :)
