Official NuEnterprise Schematics?

Are we ever going to see official blueprints in a book or poster, or something? We seem to have orthographic views of all Enterprise ships, except this one. Does the new Star Trek team simply not understand that some fans like to have starship schematics?

It's been two years, and I'm starting to feel we might never see accurate schematics of this vessel.

The closest you'll get is Tobias Richter's amazing CG on the modeler magic website. I can't link at the mo coz I'm on my phone.

With the first one a solid success, I'm sure we'll get something in time for the next movie.

Did you ever think that "official" and unofficial schematics, factoids, deck plans and such are one reason why the original Trek GOT so many fans?

Unofficial is fine. There can be plenty of those, and TPTB would still have plausible deniability if there is a quibble.

Heck, so far the "Experience the Enterprise" site says the Enterprise is 762m long, the "Art of the Movie" says 1200m and the Bluray says 725m. When they do a technical manual the length of the ship will be listed as "vaguely enourmous"

I say we should take the average of the three numbers and call it 896m.

Or simply combine all three figures for a total length of 2,687 meters (8,816 feet). More room for bowling alleys.

My guess is we'll probably get one, maybe before the next movie or after. If they think it'll make money, we'll get one.

No.

People seek out the schematics BECAUSE they are fans of Star Trek. I have known hundreds of Trek fans in my lifetime, but I have never met or heard of anyone who started watching Star Trek strictly because they liked the schematics.

Here's the USS Kelvin, from an old promotional website. That's very probably the actual Kelvin CG from the movie.

Here's Tobias Richter's amazing Star Trek (2009) Enterprise model, used on this year's Ships of the Line.

And here are Richter's Newton, Mayflower, Armstrong and Kelvin (top, front, side). They're not perfect (the proportions are a little off compared to the above official Kelvin, the Newton's nacelles are upside down, Mayflower doesn't have a rollbar) but they's absolutely amazing nonetheless.
