Official New Star Trek 2012 Game for the PC, PS3 & X360

It could be a trick of perspective, but at :57 it looks like the corridor continues around and branches off past where the bridge window (and very front of the deck) is.
Perspective, I think - it looks to me like the corridor ended in a turbolift shaft short of the windows.

The closer we get to release, the more excited I get!

It occurs to me that as much as I like video games and Trek, this will be the first Trek video game I ever play! I'd love it if Paramount made a game set in the TNG/DS9 era and made it an open galaxy sandbox style action RPG. I know it sounds like Mass Effect, but I'd want it done more in the line of the TNG episode "The Lower Decks" where you could make your own Lieutenant and name him and choose your landing party, but all of the crew we knew would be NPCs and give orders/missions. That would be awesome!!

The graphics could be a lot better though, they're trying way too hard to make it look like the movies.
It would be odd if they didn't. The only problem I have with the graphics is the odd low quality/vibrance textures they're using.

Welcome to the last gasping hurrah of the outdated PS3 and 360.
I don't even think it's a console problem, it's an art asset/build problem. Mass Effect 2 and 3 showed you could do some pretty intense environmental lighting, coloring, and contrast on consoles (along with all sorts of other games), but this just looks unfinished or hit with TV lighting everywhere.

Or are we all just confused because there's less lens flare, and that's what the movie should've looked like? ;)

Allow me to clarify, they try to make it look like the movie but they tried too hard, the lens flares look low quality and the camera shake is overly exaggerated.

EW is having a series of Gorn intros. This is part 1:

Wow, he is nasty — but also a somewhat regal bearing, no? In the new game, the Commander is the leader of the Gorn and his lime-colored shock troops have invaded New Vulcan, the refuge that is home to the survivor community from Mr. Spock’s obliterated homeworld. The Commander is large (10-feet tall) and in charge (which he gives him plenty of opportunity for torture and arranged blood-sport).

The Gorn Commander is a higher class of Gorn, and not far below him are the cunning and pragmatic Gorn Sentinels, one of the largest, strongest, and most vicious of the hissing invaders. Their weapon of choice is the Arc Driver, the most powerful handheld weapon in their clawed clutches — it unleashes a bolt of energy that disintegrates all organic matter — especially if they are wrapped in a red shirt. Sentinels are visually imposing but their tactical power make them more than just another ugly face.

The game looks pretty cool and I'm considering buying it. I'm not digging the new Gorn, though. I'd prefer they used their appearance from ENT.
