Of Gods and Men DVD

It’s a fan film you won’t be able to, best you could do is download the file, convert it if need be and copy it onto a disc.

After the Axanar debacle, they'd be crazy to still offer DVDs. They might do on their not-quite-Trek stuff like Ominara, but with the Trek brand? Crazy.

We can't sell the film do to CBS copyright, however, I have the ISO file kicking around. Keep in mind, this film was shot in low def so there is no hi-def available. There has been a lot of talk last year of remastering to HD or 4k and doing all brand new VFX, but like anything else its a matter of getting the funds to do it. Still hopefull though, the 20th anniversary is in 2026 ;)

I understand wanting to do things the honest way. But since the very existence of these fan films is a little sketchy, I don't think you need to lose much sleep over downloading the file from YouTube, downloading a free DVD maker program from Google, and buying some blank DVDs from Walmart for far cheaper than any "legit" DVD of this low-budget affair would cost. That's how I made my copies of the "Star Wars" Holiday Special" and "Space Nuts."

The current Trek fan film guidelines from CBS/Paramount say that fan films cannot be distributed on DVD or blu-ray. So there definitely won't be any legit DVDs. Fan films from before the guidelines are still out there and viewable or sometimes downloadable online, but the producers are not likely to try to release DVDs, per Tom's post above.

The used to give the DVDs for free when you bought anything from their store. I’ve also seen them come up for sale on eBay a few times, so I’d recommend just watching eBay. The version on dvd is also extended with extra stuff as compared to the internet version.

Their eBay store?

Their eBay store?
I believe he's referring to two separate things there.

Renegade Studios used to have an online store on their website where you could buy some officially licensed Trek lithographs or posters or something. It wasn't an eBay store.

If the old DVDs show up on eBay all these years later, they would probably be from a third-party seller.

That’s exactly what I mean. I’ve seen them sold by third parties a few times over the years.
