Memory Alpha and Memory Beta Wiki Discussion

Well, it seems I am not allowed to necro my own thread even when it is less than two years old, so I am restarting a discussion thread here for the fan wikis Memory Alpha and Memory Beta. What do you love, what do you hate, and do you contribute to them?

Meanwhile, I really genuinely with all my heart must praise the Star Trek Online Wiki for moving to their own platform two years ago. No more giant adverts slowing my device down to a crawl even with an adblocker installed on my browser! Thank God! (but not Sybok's God of Sha Ka Ree, lol)

It's still one of the best resources (with EAS, DITL, etc.), but the ads and the sidebars diminish the experience.
I've added and removed a few sentences in some articles, and started a few new ones. Once I had to convince them with a wall of references for them to stop reversing my changes :D

I have gripes about both the current platform and some of the editorial choices made, but the sites are a net good and I use them a fair bit. Although I try to be careful to use their info as a jumping off point rather than take the info as fact. (eg: If they claim something is in episode X, I'll usually go check for myself.)

Question: If the U.S.S. Archer's Fanhome model kit booklet says that the name Gral class name was only decided when work began on the model kit, then is it actually canon to the TV show itself (as of yet)?

Personally, "Gral class" a billion times better of a page name compared to "Archer type", especially in light of the Archer class from Star Trek: Vanguard. Nonetheless, I find this meta issue interesting to ponder. I once tried to advocate for Memory Beta to follow Memory Alpha in observing the T'Liss class name from STO-into-PIC, but you-know-who shot me down.
