The first wave of guests for August's Dallas Comic Con in Richardson, Texas has been posted, and Rene Auberjonois is scheduled to be one of the media guests!

It was announced yesterday that the second wave of comic & media guests was comin'...and then super early this mornin', the "second wave" was posted on the con's forum.

I've met Michael Dorn (stone cold silent at his table), Chase Masterson (drop dead gorgeous) and John de Lancie (looked like an uncle with his gray temples & oversized sweater).

But gettin' to meet Rene Auberjonois & Nana Visitor at the same show is goin' to be awesome!

He remembered my name when I went to ask my question at the Q & A!

How many times have you met him then?

Yesterday was the first time! I got two autographs from him, an action figure and, later, an 8x10 (which was about an hour before his Q & A).

When I stepped up to the microphone to ask my question, he said, "Tom, is it?"

"Yes, sir," I said, tryin' to be knocked over by a feather.

And then Rene tells the audience that I've already bought an autograph from him, and that the proceeds from his autograph sales would go to Doctors Without Borders, which got a round of applause.

I'm thinkin' maybe the baseball jersey with "ODO ITAL" on the back helped him rememebr me, though.
