O'Brien out, Leno back in?

Broadcasting & Cable is reporting that most Fox affiliates aren't particularly interested in a late night talk show with O'Brien (or anyone else presumably) airing on their stations (they feel they can more money from their existing syndication and late night news deals):

Amidst the speculation that Tonight Show frontman Conan O’Brien might shift to a similar role on Fox, multiple managers at Fox affiliates say they’re lukewarm on the idea. All pointed out that it’s premature to speculate on an O’Brien-at-Fox arrangement, and none were comfortable commenting on the record for that reason. But their off the record comments indicated a low level of interest in O’Brien airing on their stations.

All FOX would need is some temporary stage. Shouldn't take too long at all. After the Winter Olympics would be the perfect time to launch "Conan Kicks NBC in the Nutz" on FOX.

I'm surprised Leno did that. It's interesting this intermixing of show hosts between NBC and ABC. Carson was on JKL the other night, now Kimmel is on Leno...

I think Leno was hoping to get the others to let off some steam, to let Jimmy poke a bit, but Jimmy didn't poke. Jimmy gouged, and then twisted!

:lol: Jimmy is really a bit of a loose cannon, Leno shouldn't have trusted him. He learned from being a big fan of the "master dick" Howard Stern.

I could see Fox promoing it just like that. I can even see Family guy having an Animated Fox kicking an animated Peacock in the balls. :lol:
