News Obi-Wan Kenobi series premiering on May 27

Clone Wars/Rebels Anakin/Vader have more screen time than the films do, so of course that would be a good call. Plus people have a generally positive view of Anakin as a character in the Clone Wars. (Vader is Vader in Rebels).
Of course.

Well, it can't be for everyone.

When he says cameos I assume he means more than already known appearances like little Luke Skywalker, Aunt Beru, Fifth Brother, Darth Vader etc

So ideally what/who are the sorts of cameos you'd like to see in this? It'd be good to see some guesses and then in a couple of months we can look back on this and see if anyone got some right.

I've always rooted for a Clone Wars flashback feat Ahsoka. And as we're on Tattooine Jabba the Hutt or some of those kinda characters perhaps...

How about we pick three each (can have the same ones, repeats don't matter, just whoever you wanna guess)
So I'll say Ahsoka, Jabba, and.. Hondo

I don't think Hondo wouldn't fit for the implied darker serious theme they're going with this series.

Sure they could write him more seriously, but then he would just feel out of character IMO.

True as that might be, it's still a little odd that we haven't seen our favorite cockroach show up in the live-action shows yet. He's bound to pop up at some point!

Ahsoka and Jabba are the obvious cameos.

My third is still Hera.

(And if I were Disney, I'd troll and not reveal that was Hera until the Ahsoka series, where she would have a more major role.)

I hope we see Hondo in live action at some point, but the Ahsoka series would probably be a better fit. I was always disappointed that they never got a face-to-face on Rebels. I realize that Ahsoka's participation in Rebel season 2 was a secret to the galaxy at large, but it would have been fun.

Can I ask how? Hondo is a scoundrel through and through. There is little that their interaction would add to the story at large.

Hondo might know where certain things are going, leading to Imperial holdout worlds. Also Hondo had a soft spot for Ezra, whom Ahsoka is looking for.
Rando pirate character is well connected? Might as well have it be Lando or Han.

To be fair I picked Hondo as just a random guess, I'm not really expecting him to be in it. But hey you never know

John Williams was the one to ask LucasFilm if he could create a theme for Obi-Wan, as he was the only Legacy character he hadn't created a theme for yet.
Well, that's just untrue. The original motion picture soundtrack insert notes describe "Ben Kenobi's Theme." It's the music playing during the double sunset ("The Princess Appears") and in the medal ceremony march ("The Throne Room"). In John Williams's own words from the insert [http://vinylalbumcovers.com/star-wars-original-motion-picture-soundtrack/, http://vinylalbumcovers.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/01/starwarsinsertback.png]:

[Of Ben Kenobi's Theme] [...] it has a fairy tale aspect rather than a futuristic aspect. There is a lot of English horn in Ben's Theme which is often heard under dialog. At other times, the melody becomes the heroic march of the Jedi Knights.

[...]

[Of the double sunset scene] Originally, I scored the scene with Luke's theme. When George heard it, he asked if I could replace it with Ben's theme.

[...]

[Of the medal ceremony] I used Ben's theme as a triumphant parade fanfare as the group walks down the aisle.

In a manner of speaking, since Ben's Theme ended up being used generally and pervasively as the Force Theme, Kenobi doesn't have a personal theme, even if one was written for him (and even in the extracts you quote, Williams acknowledges that it was more of a general Jedi theme even at the very beginning). The same thing happened to Luke, who really doesn't have a personal theme anymore, since it had been the main Star Wars theme, but that music has been used for decades in Star Wars stuff where Luke isn't involved.
