Meh. Well, the "fans" who still moan about and hate.. the Ewoks and RotJ, the 97 special editions, the prequels, actually get worked up about midichlorians, the "cartoons", the sequels, Book of Boba Fett, etc etc. I always think of that Willy Wonka meme "tell me again how much you love Star Wars"

I'm on the side of fandom who just loves Star Wars for Star Wars and see everything on the same level as everything else. So if there's a scene where we see Hayden behind the Vader mask in live action that will be awesome.
And that it'll invoke one of the best moments in the entire saga

I would love a live action scene taking place during the clone wars. We'd just need a young Ashoka.

We've got Anakin, Obi-Wan and clonetroopers.

Depending on what you were trying to record you could be recording something off a local station and also recording something off satellite at the same time. While editing out the commercials out of one of them.

EW has posted an interview with series writer Joby Harold, where he talks a bit about the state of the galaxy and where we find Obi-Wan mentally, when the show starts.
It's not real long, but it gives some nice insights into where we're starting the show.

Damn, that's the absolute correct way to research the role of Anakin Skywalker... even if you're the guy who played him in the movies!

It says Ewan McGregor read some Iain M. Banks novels as well, which seems kind of random seeing as they've got nothing to do with Star Wars or his character whatsoever. But it was also an absolutely correct choice.

Clone Wars/Rebels Anakin/Vader have more screen time than the films do, so of course that would be a good call. Plus people have a generally positive view of Anakin as a character in the Clone Wars. (Vader is Vader in Rebels).
