Now that it's been a few weeks, here's the inevitable poll. Favorite season thus far?

Shows only get one season, really a couple of episodes, in my book. Waiting 3 seasons is two seasons too long to "grow a beard" or whatever that is.
I voted three. I think disco improves with time, which is a good thing.
I chose Season 3 even though it's currently the season I've seen the least amount of times and is the only season that I've not yet seen in its entirety (since real life got in the way of my finishing the last few episodes).
The 32nd Century setting and the introduction of new characters made for great storytelling avenues that also gave us brand-new insights into the characters with whom we were already familiar, which made for a lot of fun.

). My vote is currently cast for S1 (I love Lorca too much for my own good), but I don't promise that I won't change my vote again

Hopefully. As quite an unapologetic fan of the first seasons of both DSC and PIC, I never believed that crap anyway.

By 2021 standards, Sisko and Riker are "clean shaven".
Definitely 1. Ambitious, exciting and unpredictable in ways Trek on TV had not been for a long time.
I very much liked 2 as well, but it was a little less ambitious and the Control storyline was wobbly.
3 was a bit of a mess; I enjoyed parts of it but it lacked cohesion and the quality was broadly lower.

Hmm. I’m by no means a canonmaniac but I dig being in another era on its own merits. It’s cool to see what the galaxy’s like all these centuries later.
I’ve been of the opinion since the get-go that Disco’s first season is the best out of any Trek spinoff’s, heh. Ditto Picard’s; not sure which I rank more highly, but they’re both better than the first seasons of all the Berman-era stock.
I’d go so far as to say they’re middle-of-the-road Trek seasons franchise-wise, and I’m a fan of most Trek seasons so that’s not some kind of backhanded compliment, haha.
I like each for different reasons but I chose Season 3 due to the freshness of the 32nd century. If I were to rank them I'd say:

It's pretty much what I think. The series is getting better and better. I expect I'll like season 4 even more.
