Nobody owns Star Wars!

I just have no idea what anybody could find fun about the PT.
Sure you do.

You find them boring. Fair enough. They have their flaws, sure enough. But do you really mean to say that you can critically look at the PT films and find absolutely nothing that people might find fun or enjoyable about them? I mean, I think the final two seasons of BSG are gawdawfully soapy, melodramatic and ridiculous -- to the point where I've lost respect for the series. But I can still see the reasons why people like the show. Are you really saying that you cannot see any reason why fans (and honestly, there are a number of them) enjoy the PT, even with its faults?

EDIT:
Nevermind. You're just kidding. I just have no idea what anybody could find fun about your PT-related humor. ;) :p

I can see why people would want to enjoy the PT, but I can't see how they manage to succeed.

Unless people are watching movies for completely different reasons than I do, I just don't get it.

Oh I see ... intentionally obtuse (hyperbolic, perhaps?) statements. These posts really need more smileys ... or something. Because otherwise they seem ridiculously patronizing and condescending. ;) :p

Ooh, suck. What a naughty word.

I already told you I don't care if you like the PT. I personally don't like them. I like them so little that I don't even want to bother talking about it. The fact that your feelings are getting hurt by this is absurd.

You feel free to enjoy them all you want. I give you permission. If it makes you feel better, I don't think the OT is all that great either, which is probably why I haven't watched it in about 6 years and why I don't own it. I just happen to like it more than the PT.

Everything I say is hyperbole.

I'm just tired of needing emoticons for every little comment I make! :klingon:

I view the whole series as one big movie and find it all very satisfying. There's something special about each episode which I like and I can't say I enjoy the OT over the PT or vice versa.

I have the original and special editions on VHS and DVD... [and a copy of TPM on VHS which I inherited and forms the background of my "Shelf of Shame" behind figures of R. Clemens and M. Ramirez, but I digress]. Don't care to own the rest of the PT, am still busy trying to pretend it was just a bad dream and he hasn't made them yet.
