Yeah I saw Brown, and obviously Dench (meaning she's kinda been in every one of Craig's films! ;) )

Then you have to take the character back to the 1950s because he will no longer be able to get away with doing onscreen what he did before if you keep him in the 21st Century.

Obviously some of the more problematic elements wouldn't fly today in any case, but perhaps a period-set Bond would be an interesting way to go.

Saw it in IMAX last night.

I give it an 8/10. I’ll elaborate more. Overall, I was very satisfied with this final entry for Craig. It may be his best acting performance. Nothing robotic at all, as a certain poster would claim.

I saw it as well, and I thought this was the James Bond movie for everyone. For me, the best part was the ending of the movie and glad this era is over. Craig did a decent job and he owns this Bond from start to finish and I look forward to the next OO7. No Craig Bond movie will ever be as good as Casino Royale but this movie polishes his version of Bond and its so fitting for the finale. The movie was fun and it does take a lot of inspiration from another Bond movie which I thought is one of my favorite OHMSS. Action pieces are amazing, it is well shot, and the set pieces are a nice nod to Ken Adams, very interesting. The supporting actors were good as well. No Time To Die has its flaws but who cares, this is Daniel Craig's final movie as OO7.

6 out of 10.

Saw it last week and I loved it.....took a while to process. It was so long by the end I had almost forgot how bad ass Ana de Armas was in the 1st act as the agent in Cuba. She was pretty amazing.

Ana de Armas is charming and fun and Craig and her has this thing about them where it shows there's admiration for each other. I like seeing them together and her scenes was very light and fun. My only critique I found during her action scene was where she was firing a military assault weapon in one hand and a hand gun in the other. I thought the military assault weapon should've thrown her 88 lbs across the room LOL, I mean I'm 100 lbs. and fired a weapon like that at a gun ranch with two hands and it had a gnarly kick. It scared the hell out of me, thinking I may spray the range uncontrollably LOL. No, the scene was fun and I really liked it, and I hope she returns in the Knives Out sequel.

Again, Hollywood showing that "Rule of Cool" is more important than practical Gun Handling Safety and proper firing stances.

Did you see the movie? What were your thoughts, KamenRiderBlade?

Haven't had a chance yet, waiting for my buddy to have free time so we can go see it.

But women in general can shoot AR-Type rifles just fine. Just use proper stance, technique, lean into the rifle and lean forward.

But doing stupid things like Dual Wielding a long gun in one hand and a pistol in the other is typical Hollywood stupid Action Hero BS that is highly impractical.

Here's Halle Berry training in 3-Gun @ Taran Tactical for prepping for John Wick 3.

If you're going to have Halle Berry (She's not particulary strong or heavy in mass/weight) handle FireArms, do it the right way, get proper training.

You also have Kirsten Joy Weiss who is a multi-time National Champion Shooter and can handle any FireArm of nearly any size with ease while being ~100-120 lbs.

It's all about discipline, technique, training, and application of everything you learn.

She was fantastic. In years to come when people ask those "who was the coolest character in Bond with the shortest screen time" she'll be right up there (just behind Dr Kaufman!)

Once you see the scene, it worked very well IMO, I mentioned it because I weigh more than her and I was kinda jealous. LOL! If you can, please see this movie on an IMAX cinema room, it is breath taking watching the locales which I call "The smelling of the roses" having the characters live and breath and walk within the confines of the beautiful scenery.

I'm sure it was cinematically gorgeous and had lots of cool factor, her acting is probably fine and all that. But as a gun guy, the way you described it reeks of typical Hollywood "Cool Factor over Logic & Practicality".

NOBODY IRL Dual wields a Rifle/Long Gun in one hand and a pistol in the other.

That's typical Hollywood BS for "Rule of Cool". That's fine if that is what they're going for. But it makes no logical sense to those who understand FireArms on a more realistic level and take it seriously.

The guys don't do it, the pro's don't do it.

Any woman who is part of the 2A scene wouldn't do it either.

One weapon at a time, proper stance, proper aim.

Dual Wielding is really for Amateurs who care about looking cool than IRL practicality.

John Woo Action Flicks generally loves to dual wield, and so does Hollywood.

There's en entire TV Tropes about it called Guns Akimbo.

I guess I'd always assumed as well that in films the cartridges are loaded with the minimal amount of powder because they're only designed to look like they're firing, so there'd be a lot less kick than if you were using live ammo?
