No Merlin thread?

Never mind that, he's had her unconcious two episodes in a row and hasn't copped a feel...

I can't believe I wrote that

He might have. We always do cut away when Morgana passes out. Who knows what he's doing in that old man's body?

Yes, I've had quite enough of Evil Uncle. He does well in an over the top campy sort of way, but this isn't the Adam West Batman. I mean, could this guy be any more obviously evil? I have a feeling the actor's having a blast with it though.

And good lord Merlin, why are you such an idiot? Morgana is trying to overthrow Camelot and murder Arthur. She's already succeeded in killing Uther and several citizens in Camelot. Kill her! You were prepared to kill her when she was good, so why won't you kill her when she's evil? You've had her unconscious two episodes in a row now -- just finish her off! It's going to be 100% your fault when Mordred kills Arthur.
Dude! Spoilers!!!!!!! ;)

Well that was quite good, but did feel like the sort of episode we could have seen a year or two ago. I think the Knights need to kick some more arse, they're appearing a bit wishy washy of late (beaten up by Merlin, seduced by Lamia).

For some reason I thought Gwen knew about Merlin but obviously not! Nice to see her get some stuff to do and she had some nice scenes with Arthur (and it was nice to see him take charge of the situation and not bow to Agrivaine.)

Next week's looks interesting!!

ha ha

Well Arthur did make a curious comment about Merlin not being able to find his backside with both hands...I think the writers are just putting things in on purpose now, and probably have been for ages!

I've been saying that since the first episode this series, there seems to have been an increase in the stuff that's there to draw slashers in.

i just wish they'd stop the utterly pointless thing of sticking the episode title at the end of the credits. why? it's in the bloody RT five days before hand...

I missed this week's but on Bob's advice, I listen to him in all things TV, I haven't bothered chasing it up.

The writers kicked up a stink when they didn't get credited at the start of the show, so they moved the title of the episode and the writers name to the end.

wha?

that doesn't make any sense, because several episodes this season and last are credited at the end, but others are at the start. the 'big' episodes like the season premiere and finale were at the end, but the one last week was at the start...

Was it? I dunno I know there was an episode with no writers credit and a few writers and the writers guild were complaining about it on twitter, then I noticed they'd started putting the credit at the end.

I concur.

No Morganna, who cares.

Not that I'm into Katie, because I am not, but we're riding in the back seat of a story she's the pilot of, and then this "detour" where there may be a few seconds of Agravaine being a dick, but Morganna has the day off, or Merlin is just too stupid to stop her evil master plan this week? Whatever she did to try and take over the kindgdom this week either suceeded or was stopped by "someone" else the camera wasn't tracking.

Maybe the reason that Morganna doesn't think that Merlin is an alpowerful magician is that there are other serving boys from Camelot who routinely route her too.

(That sounds really rude.)

Was Morganna behind the ":sweating sickness"?

It really felt like a seaosn 2 episode.

Well that was disappointing. It was just a setup episode to get certain characters into position for future episodes. Maybe it's because I read the short episode summaries for the rest of the season (I really need to stop doing that) so I killed any possible surprise for myself, but either way I didn't enjoy it.

it was a weird Colin light episode.

He didn't talk for the first 15 minutes.

just smirked in the background.

The really weird thing is that Merlin lost and evil won.

And it didn't really matter.
