No FFVII Remake thread? Really?!

The fact that Squares Enix linked FFVII to FFX and FFX-2 retroactively is the only reason I could bring myself to play Remake, and is the only reason I'm considering indulging the FF Completist in me by going for the PS4 port of the OG game because I can mentally apply my knowledge of the connections to FFX/FFX-2 to the OG game and be okay with playing it.

Alternatively, I can just hold onto Remake (without having it installed) and keep hoping that the PS5 drops in price enough to warrant buying one so I can get all of the Remake project at some point.

Re: XIII, I've held onto my PS3 with the intent of buying the last 2/3 of the Trilogy, but can't find XIII-2 or Lightning Returns anywhere cheap.

There are digital copies, and truth be told you’d probably be better off with the pc versions of both, as there is dlc you can no longer get on the ps3 version.
Surprised the discs have held their value truth be told.

^ With the exception of Emulation (which I don't actually do that much of any longer), I'm not a PC gamer.

I'm also not really a Handheld gamer.

Honestly, I might just have to bite the bullet, as it were, and resign myself to paying exorbitant prices for the PS3 games I still need (like XIII-2, Lightning Returns, Fallout: New Vegas, and the first two Infamous games, amongst a few others).

Edit: I found XIII-2 and Lightning Returns - new - for a lot cheaper than I was expecting, and they'll both be here later this week to next week.
