I'm still looking forward to the Switch, but the paid online service has me really concerned. I don't play games online much, but occasionally I like to load up MK8 and hop online to race. This happens maybe once a month at best. I'm not going to shell out for an online service for some casual gaming that doesn't get used that much.
I think it's silly that I would need to pay to visit someone else's town in a theoretical Animal Crossing.
I think the game download is a temp download, but an actual download. So you can play on the go and then at the end of the month it deletes itself. But that isn't based on anything besides logic which Nintedo doesn't always seem to go with.
Sure, just like the Wii U. I'll take that bet. It's clear that in your eyes Nintendo could do no wrong. This was an epic failure to launch a system. I was so looking forward to it and it was a huge letdown, and Nintendo stockholders now it.
Switch, as long as there's enough games for me to enjoy, and so far there appears to be, it will be a worthy purchase in my eyes.
There's too much focus on the hardware and gimmick on Nintendo's part and not enough attention paid to the games for 2017. Just look at the launch line-up. Once you're done playing Zelda, what next? You won't have Virtual Console for a few months.
Switch has until December.
That's fair, but in my defense I legitimately liked what I saw.
I will likely do the same. Kind of an underwhelming showing.I'm still going to get this at some point, but $300 and a scant launch library tells me I should wait a while.
Joel, we are getting more games than that. LEGO City Undercover is being ported from Wii U to all the consoles in the spring.
Wow, Skyrim didn't even merit a logo.I've been doing some more reading, watching some more YouTube videos and doing some more thinking.
I will now go as far as saying that Nintendo have totally dropped the ball. When the very first 3DS was launched, I was underwhelmed by the selection of launch titles. By comparison, the 3DS' launch is outstanding compared to the Switch.
Seriously, this is Switch for 2017 (unless there are surprises ahead):

There are some terrific game in there that I look forward to playing. But again, you are looking at 2017.
