Niners Unite...around Babylon 5! - The Lost Threads

Let's move it up to this coming Saturday evening Jan. 12th, from 7-9pm. I had to miss the last one and will be out of town on the 19th.

Would Sunday evening be any better?

Saturday and Sunday afternoons are both booked for me.

I can do it either day and whatever time is best for others. I am on U.S. Eastern Time.

Who is gonna do it? Because if someone like OZ is gonna participate, then we need to make it at a time when the Aussies are awake.

I'll be only too happy to host it. OZ.... are you going to be able to make it? If not, we can adjust somehow.

Oh yeah... good idea to add the time zone there :o

Incidentally, by going with a 2-hour timeslot, we can watch one episode and have a bathroom break or general "consult" between the episodes if people like. Plus, by waiting until 8:00pm EST to watch the second episode, it allows someone who can't make it the first a little more time to still get in for the later one.

Incidentally, I think a future joint viewing theme would be to pick an episode that is very much like a particular DS9 episode. Nothing leaps to mind at the moment, nor do I own a set of DS9 DVDs, so the practicality of such a viewing may be tricky.

that'll be awesome! but it would take forever to do a Homefront/Paradise Lost and Messages/Point of No Return/Severed marathon.

At the risk of being a wet blanket, do we know if Antony will be done with his pruning by 7PM EST? Isn't access supposed to be kinda chancy tomorrow?

Jan

Hmmmm... good point. Let me double check with him and get back to you. But let's keep it at the current date & time. If the board isn't ready at that time, we can wait a bit until it is.

According to AntonyF, unless something highly unexpected and unusual happens, the whole process should be done well before we begin. Ergo, we ought to keep schedule as it now sits.

Sunday Jan 13th

7:00 pm - "Passing Through Gethsemane"
8:00 pm - "The Corps Is Mother; the Corps is Father"

How does that sound?

sadly, life has caught me by the bal...er, throat, and i'm going to have to sit this one out.

faith manages :)

No worries. We may end up not having one this evening anyhow, if nobody else is able to make it.

I'm here. Very late but it looks like we need to reschedule, huh?

Sorry, minor crisis (emphasis on minor)

Jan

The time from 7-9 PM EST was great, I thought. Will you be back in town the weekend of the 26-27th?

Yes. Let's go with Sat. Jan 26th 7 - 9 pm. Might give us more time to recruit more telep.... errr.. participants.

Ho will that work out for anyone?

I should be able to make it, depending on how my move into my new apartment goes the day before. Are we absolutely set on these two episodes, because I'm not bringing my DVD sets with me--I'll just bring copies of the two episodes in question. (?)
