Nimoy takes a bow... his last bow

Class act, this one. Saw him last year in Calgary, where he ALSO went out to the nearby town of Vulcan, which you may remember from the news he campaigned to be the Canadian premiere for Trek XI, despite the town not having a movie theatre.

He's not dead, gang! But for what it's worth, he's also "retired" from acting a couple times. He may be coaxed to an event or two in the future, but we gotta face it, the man is no longer the spry Vulcan he once was. I'm happy to have seen him speak when I did, and Shatner the year after.

I was at the Chicago convention where they announced it would be his last. The way people were talking, I wanted to say "He's not dying guys!" Soo dramatic. Still i'm glad I got to see him.

I wish I had gotten the chance to meet him. He is a remarkable man.

I wish I could have been there. I'm not too far from Chicago, but just couldn't spare the time or money.
