Night

'Night' is a very underrated episode. And, as others have said, Janeway's 'mistake' in this episode actually made me more interested in the character.

You didn't like Sky captain and the World of Tomorrow?

Of course if you even had half a brain, although I assume that you have at least thrice that, you'd despise Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow since it was obviously dehydrated shite.

Why are you throwing shade at me for? :wtf:

And no - I have not seen Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow.

Why the hell not? It's the first job Laurence Olivier has had since he died.

Don't you support the idealogical achievements of Zombies?

Are you a bigot?

Night is probably one of my top five favorite Voyager episodes. Loved both the Malon and the void natives. I wish we'd seen more of the Malon, actually. I enjoyed both their metaphoric role as callous polluters, and the fact that they're far from "evil" aliens, they just have a technological problem.

The Night aliens were just, well, really cool.

The missed opportunities are what bothers you with this episode just imagine the cliffhanger they could have had at the end of "Hope and Fear" if when Voyager comes out of transwarp corridor they had emeged into nothingness.

Also,it seems the crew gets restless too easy too fast. A crew that seemingly goes from one adventure to the next you imagine would be releived to have time to repair, rebuild and upgrade systems on Voyager as needed.

Or after being so used to all the hustle, they would find the quiet waters difficult to adjust to.

If that melee hadn't started up after 20 minutes leading them out of the void, Janeway was going to spend the next two years in her room "rocking" and mumbling to herself.

Although Howard Hughes ran an empire while carrying on in like fashion.
