I feel so bad for the Lions. In past years I've said maybe the NFL should take away their Thanksgiving day Game, but this year, they played really well for about 3 quarters and 5 minutes of the 4th. It's a shame that this season they are so close but yet continue to snatch defeat from the hands of victory, so to speak.
The NFL should never take Thanksgiving away from the Lions. Thanksgiving belongs to them and the Cowboys. It should stay that way.
As for the Lions today (well, yesterday now), they played a heck of a first half, but fell apart in the second. They've had a couple tough losses, but they've been pretty competitive in most of them. Certainly more competitive than they've recently been. I think the Lions will do better next Thanksgiving.

well at least the only game i got to watch dallas saints was the good one.

Dear Texans fans,
We the Titans fans wish to apologize for making you pay full price to see what amounted to an effort on our part akin to the first preseason game in August. In addition we hope to improve and straighten our shit out so that no other NFL fan base will feel cheated for the remainder of the season.

I have one good thing to say about Denver's season: Normally, we have a late slide that will take us out of contention and destroy all of our hopes and dreams. This year, it is impossible to slide much further. Denver is at the bottom of the barrel and the worst we can do now is maintain the status quo.

My first thought was: There is a place(s) the public can access that would endanger their lives from such a height?

Someone committed suicide at Soldier Field? Wow.
That's not exactly saying much considering Cleveland has been decently competitive of late and was playing arguably the weakest team in the league in Carolina.
I'm not a huge fan of the renovations either but, wow!
I was going to (and save the Jets for later), but chickened out after I heard McCoy was hurt and not likely to play. They've been a good team this year, and Carolina hasn't, so it wasn't a crazy pick...
I'll get you next week.
Oh, and no talk about Manning's performance last night? Maybe the Laser Rocket Arm needs to be re calibrated? Anyway, here's a good opportunity to show a favorite website again with Manning's reaction (a little Eli in there too, but it's ok, he does it too)
