Guh. Look Titans, I applaud the desire to air it out more (Lord knows Chris Johnson could use a less stacked box), and Vince was looking mighty impressive before he went down, but... wut? :vulcan:

NO. Look, I trust Fisher - a lot - but no. Don't get that idiot in the same clubhouse with Kenny Britt, please. I know losing to the Chargers again is maddening (I finally remembered why I despise the Chargers, I always forget), but this isn't the answer.

Somebody needs to check out Roy Williams for a concussion. He actually thinks the Cowgirls can win the rest of their games and make the playoffs. :guffaw:

IRVING, Texas -- A 1-6 start hasn't drained the optimism from receiver Roy Williams, who is confident that the Dallas Cowboys can recover and run the table the rest of the season.

"We can go nine in a row, if you ask me," Williams said Thursday. "People can call me stupid or whatever, but this football team has the core of players, it has the supporting cast of players to win nine in row. We just got to get it started just for other players to be like, 'All right, we got it now.'"

They'll be lucky to win a third of those games.

Lists like this always seem to generate all manner of debate. This one's not bad, as I am okay with most of the Top 10. I tend to doubt the choice for #1. Plus, it does tend to suffer some age bias, in that many players from earlier generations are questioned for being on this list in the first place. Still.... what it may suffer form most is the challenge of comparing eras.

Apparently, when Brad Childress and the Vikings put Randy Moss on waivers, they had reasons other than his blast of the Vikings organization and his praise for the Patriots [team stats] and coach Bill Belichick in his self-interview tirade after Sunday’s game.

In speaking to some players, they claimed that Moss didn’t go all out in practice and in games. Like he was quoted when he previously was with the Vikings, "I play when I want to play."

While Childress hasn’t mentioned those reasons, the word at Winter Park was that the coach was pretty irritated that Moss didn’t work hard in practice and sometimes in games while also being a bad influence in the locker room.

Randy Moss is a cancer in the locker room. Like that's a surprise? The guy is a first class twat who'll be done in a year or two. He isn't worth it. I'm glad Sam Bradford won't be saddled with him.

That 'the grass was greener on the other side of the fence' presser last week was full of good sound bites, and just plain bizarre.

Hahaha, hilarious penalty against the Jets - after stopping the Lions at 2nd and goal and making them have to kick, personal foul roughing the kicker and new first down -> touchown Lions. The only thing that could have made it even better is if the kicker had missed.

Interesting. I never knew the league doesn't distinguish between a shanked PAT and a blocked one. Regardless the Bears are managing to do their finest to give the Bills a win...WTF.

I didn't believe it at first, but I just turned the tv to CBS and confirmed... the Browns are beating the Patriots by 20 pts in the 4th quarter?!?!

Yep, McCoy started alright. And he better be starting the rest of the season. He hasn't exactly been all-pro as far as numbers go. But all reports are he's been enthusiastic and solid in managing the game. His numbers today:

Code:
  	CP/AT YDS TD INT
McCoy 14/19 174 0 0

Of course, it helps when you have a RB who runs for almost 200 yds.

:) Thank you. Yeah, Colt McCoy is every bit as good a kid as Sam Bradford is--they're very good friends, in fact. Have been for several years. Sam has much more physical ability, but McCoy shares his intangibles. Cleveland could do worse. It's nice to see someone like Colt McCoy succeed rather than a Rothlisberger or Michael I'd still be torturing dogs if I hadn't gotten caught Vick.

I've been watching Game Mix for most of the morning (God Bless the Sunday Ticket!).

The Browns beating up the Patriots makes me smile.

The Bears tried hard to let Buffalo win that game. That would have been a classic rant, I'm sure.

Tampa Bay screwed the pooch on the goalline there. Bad clock management too.

And oh yeah.....Go Vikings!

:techman:

What an interesting morning this has been. Browns kicking the Patriots you know what, Vikings barely winning, and now watching the most anticipated Raider game since 2002. What a Sunday.
