Aside from the final score, the only thing I heard about the Jets/Lions game was that Ndamukong Suh tried his hand at some kicking? :wtf:

Jason Hanson hurt his knee, so Schwartz decided to have Suh come in for the PAT attempt.

Nahhh... that was the right call. It looked to me like his arm was underneath the ball when he came up with the ball. Johnson was the one who muffed the play to begin with, although that was a freakish bounce off Johnson's knee.

Not that one (which will haunt Johnson for a long time). The non-existent "intentional grounding" (hello, Tight End!) that only was called after Baby Rivers started crying. Not to mention the TD that was called back because a touchdown is no longer a touchdown (aka the Calvin Johnson Rule).

Damn. Indy actually got the ball back and was driving down the field to try and get into field goal range and Manning was intercepted. Philly will win 26-24. :( I know there are a ton of injuries on Indy's team coming into today, but I hate seeing that scumbag Vick have any success. I hate it. :scream: He and Rothlisberger need to go play in traffic together.

This Raiders game is really really exciting. Ford just made an unreal catch and Sea-Bass just sent it to overtime. I'll also say this is one of the longest football games of the year. I guess it all goes with the territory of Chiefs/Raiders.

Raiders Win. Biggest Win in 8 Years? Just asking because that might be the topic of conversation here in the Bay Area this week.

What will you do if we have an all-Pennsylvania Super Bowl this year? ;)

(Which really isn't all *that* improbable.)

Congrats to the Raiders. Make the old Sea Monster proud. :techman:

And I forgot to say congrats to the Brownies. I'm sure Mangini was especially pleased.

Always a pleasure to see the Eagles win, and helping the Titans stay tied with the Colts is a nice bonus.

That really does need to happen one of these years. So long as the Eagles win of course, nobody needs to see another Steelers Superbowl victory. ;)

AAAAAAACK!!! Bite your tongue. :scream:

Throwing flaming bags of dog shit is a thought. I bet I could chuck a dozen before security arrested me. Appropriate for Michael, and hell.....works for Rothlisberger, too. That, and some liquid ice in his jock.

Christ, the Raiders/Chiefs game was brutal! What was that?! And I express again how much I hate the NFL's rules when it comes to OT. Really the other team should get a chance to try and to counter the score. They should play the full OT "quarter" and then settle on if it's a win or a tie.

But an exciting game but sheesh! It was penalty city! The Raiders were the worst but it really seemed for a time there whatever disease they have that causes penalties spread to the Chiefs. I think this game was the heaviest with penalties we've had in a long assed time.

Overall the game came out okay. I wish we had won but we were within the Home Field Advantage and we actually held them off fairly well overall. The penalties really cost us but at least there wasn't as much bone-headed play calling this time around. Good game. Brutal. Long. And really showcases how retarded OT is treated in the NFL, but a fun game.
