The Falcons really seem to be zeroing in on Belichick; Arthur Blank flew Belichick to Atlanta on one of his private jets yesterday and the two had dinner last night in advance of a second interview today.

I imagine every Falcons defensive player just high-fiving everyone in sight, while the offensive players are looking like they're just about to exit a landing craft onto Normandy.

Texans inexperience showed up big time today. Ravens just took 'em to the woodshed.

But I'm happy as hell with what happened with the Texans this year. It looks like the Texans will lose Slowik to someone, but the stars of the Texans are DeMeco Ryans and CJ Stroud. And personally, I don't know why a rookie OC in the NFL would get promoted to a then rookie HC. Slowik looks good because Stroud made him look good, and he ain't gonna have Stroud on his next team.

I would drive a dump truck full of money up to Slowik’s house to keep him around another year. Continuity in play calling does nothing but help Stroud’s development.
