NFL 2023: A different shade of green for Aaron Rodgers

Dak was fine. He was asked to throw sixty fucking times.

The playcalling was abysmal, the defense didn't show up. McCarthy needs to be fired so he can go home, sit on a couch and eat Oreos and Cheetos all day.

Edit: Dak Prescott threw for 4,500 goddamn yards this season. On what planet do you not bring him back? He didn't cough up 48 points to the Packers, that's on the defense.

He's a liability in the playoffs though. He can't win the big game. Maybe that's all play calling, but even he admitted yesterday that if McCarthy is an issue, he is as well. Maybe you don't get rid of him, but how do the Cowboys finally get over the hump and end that stigma?

Texans going to Baltimore next. I'd rather they had gone to Kansas City, because I think the Chiefs can be had this year. I can't say the same of the Ravens. We're about to find out what our rookies in charge are made of.

Damn, the Bucs could legitimately beat the Eagles.

Do you fire Sirianni if the Eagles end the season 1-6 with a first round loss?

I really can't understand what's happened to the Eagles. After being so good to start the year, it's like they've completely lost the plot for the last 2 months. Defense is horrific but the offense lost it too.

You could give the Cowboys Tom Brady in his prime and that organization would find a way to make him a mediocre player.
I often say that about my Bears, who haven't developed a QB in forever and haven't made much use of a few decent passers they've picked up here and there.

Stupid Eagles took points off the board. Sirianni is getting fired.

I have a hard time seeing him get fired after going to the Super Bowl last year. Though it looks like other teams have figured the Eagles out and Sirianni has done a poor job of adapting.

If anything, this should be the end of the road for Matt Patricia occupying any kind of upper-level coaching position. Executive Ball Boy or Chief Clipboard Washer, perhaps?
