I completely agree. Please don't think I'm taking a victory lap by posting the info.
I know. I’m just in one of those weird reflective moods this morning.

It's tough when you don't really see them as people. They are a world apart, as it were.I know fans celebrate these firings, unfortunately there are a lot of people who have just had their worlds' turned upside-down.
I get what I can for Fields and move on. That is just watching Jordan Love’s development this year. Fields fooled me last year.
I wonder if Atlanta would be interested in Fields. Fields has shown potential, and the weapons are there, not to mention they are getting a new head coach that will most definitely use said weapons. It seems like that might be a good match to light a fuse under Fields career and get guys like Robinson, London, and Pitts going.
After finishing the season 1-5 and missing the playoffs, the Jags fire DC Mike Caldwell, the DL coach, the CB coach, the ILB coach, the S coach, a senior defensive assistant and two quality control coaches.
I liked Mike Vrabel when he was with Houston, and I thought he did a good job in Tennessee. He'll land somewhere else soon enough. He's a good coach.
Yeah I have no idea what Titans brass are thinking with this. Are they hoping to drive a dump truck of money up to Jim Harbaugh's house?
Vrabel won't be out of work long. Bad, bad call by the Titans, IMO.
My guess the issue with Vrabel is that he and the new GM weren't on the same page, and Vrabel had also made some really, really bad calls when it came to coordinators.
The "we wanted to trade him, but it would take too much time" bullshit Amy Adams Strunk said in her statement basically screams that she wanted to move on and get one of the hot candidates rather than trade him to the Patriots.
Oh yeah, no question there about the coordinators. Even so, ugh. After the turnstile of coaches before Vrabel we really needed stability.
TBH, the D did get consistently better, where the O was still up and down and Getsy had the Nagy tendency to run some stupid shit plays when they only needed a few yards. The Chicago Bears are opening another critical offseason by keeping head coach Matt Eberflus and making cuts to their staff.
Offensive coordinator Luke Getsy and quarterbacks coach Andrew Janocko were fired, according to a Wednesday report from Tom Pelissero and Ian Rapoport of NFL Network. Wide receivers coach Tyke Tolbert and running backs coach Omar Young were let go as well, Courtney Cronin of ESPN added.
Still, a new offense for Fields can't be good for his development, such as it is.
