NFL 2022: The Fall of the "Immunized" Aaron Rodgers

If Bailey Zappe leads the Patriots to the promised land, the fans won't remember Mac Jones.
He did OK for a couple series', then surprisingly the Bears adjusted and he looked almost as bad as Jones.

Though the Bears are still relying too much on Fields' legs. 82 yards rushing to 62 yards each for Monty & Herbert. Ground and pound worked for 1 week.

Bad offensive line and no receivers leaves Fields little option but to run for his life.

At least most of that yardage came on actual, designed run plays, rather than scrambles after the pocket collapsed after a second.

Still some trouble with the o-line, esp after Mustipher was put back in. Those designed run plays were meant to counter the still so-so o-line.

Remember the OL Leatherwood we picked up a while back from the Raiders? He was on the non-football IL for mono, came off and got in a "serious" car accident. The guy can't win. I'd like to see if the Bears can turn him around.

It's amazing how much better the line was with Patrick at center. Shame that he got hurt again.

Quinn has also been real bad this year.

Look at his career stats: He's literally never put together two great seasons in a row.

Cold and snow are "a part of Buffalo", as is feet of snow on a football Sunday. Seems idiotic not to put on a retractable roof at least. Those parts meant to cut down on swirling winds and whatnot aren't going to keep Buffalo snow out.

Bengals WR J’Marr Chase to IR with a hip flexor strain. That definitely hurts.

Football is meant to be played in any kind of weather (minus lightning or hurricanes or tornadoes, obviously). Good on the Bills for sticking with an open-roof stadium. The Super Bowl would never be held in Buffalo anyway.
