NFL 2022: The Fall of the "Immunized" Aaron Rodgers

I feel silly. Turned on the TV, wondered why the Packers were throwing and the Commanders weren't calling time outs. It's the end of the 2nd quarter, not the 4th.

Halfway through the 3rd quarter, Panthers are shutting out the Bucs.

Doubt that will stand, but damn…

I am starting to wonder if Brady’s heart was really in playing this season.

I think it's more simply that he's just, y'know, old.

Plus going from Bruce Arians to Todd Bowles as a head coach cannot be interpreted in any way other than a massive step backwards.

Aaron Rodgers or Tom Brady, who was the biggest disappointment today?

Probably Brady. From the highlights, it looks like age is finally catching up to him. His receivers didn't do him any favors either, dropping a couple of passes when they were wide open.

Edit to add. . .

Next week, 2-5 Denver flies to London to play the 2-5 Jacksonville. If the Broncos should lose, is that the end of Hackett as head coach?

After watching Russell Wilson play and Nathaniel Hackett coach, the UK will announce that they are declining all NFL efforts to relocate or expand there.

Which upcoming free agent QB gets to start for the Colts next year? Tom Brady? Baker Mayfield? Sam Darnold? Daniel Jones? Teddy Bridgewater? Jimmy Garoppolo? Andy Dalton?

I think it's time for Tom Brady to make good on his threats to finally retire. He's been showing his age the past couple of years and his O-line hasn't been doing him any favors. That, plus this whole thing with Bündchen going on, he's mind clearly isn't on the game. Time to go, Tom.

If he can keep them in games without turning the ball over, they may stick with Sam Ehrlinger, their 6th round pick from last year.
