By cutting Damon Arnette, neither Raiders 2020 first round pick is still with the team during season two. And only one player remains from their first five picks which were in the first three rounds.

Watching the highlights, it looks like only one INT was a bad throw, the other bounced off of Higbee’s hands. The more concerning thing is the three or four sacks he took down in or near the red zone.

Stafford always had big questions hanging around him because he never really played for anything before and a lot of his Lions numbers came in garbage time when they were playing from way behind.

He was also missing wide open receivers by 10 feet. When they weren't dropping passes right in their hands.

A dismal effort on both sides of the ball.
 
Le'Veon Bell cut by the Ravens. Talk about a player who derailed his own career by chasing the money and ended up losing money.

Annnnd thus my skepticism about the Raiders -0 start and short stay alone at the top of the Western Conference. This is still Crudeness team and it is folding the way Gruden teams fold. Gus Bradley is the only coach I’d retain next season.

The Raiders will be using high picks to draft more corners who can’t cover (Trayvon Muller excepted). Mike Mayock has got to go.

It doesn't sound like any of the QB's in the first round are particularly game breaking. They'd be serviceable, but not superstar level.

But there has to be better options than Goff full time. Fitzmagic will be a free agent, so will Dalton, Brissett, Bridgewater, Tyrod. Not a great list, but I think they'd be an upgrade.

If they could get someone like Malik Willis with the first round pick obtained from the Rams, it might be the way to go.

It is the difference between 1-7-1 and 0-8-1. Not worth the time or money.
