NFL 2021 season - Belichick Strikes Back

I really don't understand? They just cut DeSean Jackson because there weren't enough footballs to go around, and then they signed somebody else who just got cut because he was complaining about not getting the football. Interesting strategy.

After we cut Jackson, Atwell went out for the year. We had to replace him as we only had 4 receivers on the roster.

DeAndre Swift has more rushing attempts (12) than Jared Goff has passing yards (11), in the first half against Pittsburgh.

Detroit holds the Steelers and gets the ball back. Goff is promptly sacked.

Still tied with less than a minute in OT. PIT might get the FG....nope.

Bucs got skunked by the WTF WFT, so that's good. Cowboys treated the Failcons like a baby treats a diaper. A couple other blowouts and the Bears didn't lose!

Backup QB's looking like shit today.

I just wonder how badly the Detroit backup QB's are that Goff was left in when he had a hip injury and could barely throw the ball ten yards? I also wonder how much the Steelers' will pony up to have Roethlisberger to come back in 2022 after today's performance by Mason Rudolph?

I took a nap after the early games…what the heck is going on in Arizona? Not that I’m complaining, mind you…

So, next Sunday the worst team in the AFC (Texans) plays the best team in the AFC (Titans) both of which are from Houston.

Sometimes it just really sucks to be a sports fan in Houston.

Well, watching the highlights, I got my answer. Cam Newton is back, and Murray didn't play.

Bucs lose to the WTF. Nice.

My Rams had better win tonight.

Wished I'd have seen WFT play yesterday. Broadcast not available in my area. I would have loved to see the look on Brady's face. I remember many years ago when the Pats were leading the League into one of their many championship wins and they played the ever-bedraggled Redskins who were close to being the worst team (their standard ranking in the past 2 decades, TBH). In that game, the Skins came danger close to beating the Pats. They had already lost any hope for being in the playoffs and were just playing to spoil the Pats' near-perfect season standing that year. Patriots did eventually win that game to my recollection, but it was brutal - made them work for every yard. Brady, in frustration, tossed his helmet (which he is apparently often wont to do) - I think it might have gone into the Gatorade table, sending full cups flying everywhere in an orange mist. I envisioned a similar reaction this past Sunday. :D
