NFL 2021 season - Belichick Strikes Back

Fields stood in the pocket like.....like Foles would have. Way to move the pocket Nagy you asshat. I really wanna drive down there and shove that laminating machine straight up his ass.

There wasn't a pocket, that's one of the biggest issues. But Fields just got frozen because he had defenders slamming into him every two seconds.

I was saying as far back as the preseason that Fields wasn't ready and that I didn't understand Chicago fans' bloodthirst when the team has no offensive line, one decent receiver and no decent blocking tight end. Well, hey, guess what? Fields proved that he isn't ready--we aren't going to get into the Ohio State QB curse yet--and now Nagy is saying that Foles is under consideration to start against Detroit.

The desire to have Fields in there was his mobility and speed. You wouldn't know those things existed the way Nagy called plays yesterday tho. Didn't even move (what there was of a pocket) til once in the second quarter. Moving the guy around would have made half of those sacks go away.

Bengals make it interesting against a Jaguars team they should’ve blown out. Losing definitely looks like it is weighing on Urban Meyer.

As always, the Jaguars managed to pull defeat out of the jaws of victory.

The '76-'77 Bucs have some competition.... can the JagWads get to 26 straight losses?

I think they can

Their next 7 opponents are

Titans
Dolphins
Seahawks
Bills
Colts
49ers
Falcons

There are only 2 (3 including the Dolphins) possible wins in that list.
I say they break the record, as their 8th game is against the LA Rams.

Somehow, the Bengals/Jaguars game slipped my mind...

:shifty:

I forgot that it was a Thursday night game too

so do not feel like you were alone.

The Jags have looked steadily better with every passing game, as has Lawrence. They’ll get a few wins down the road.

Random fact, the first 12 49ers TDs this season have been scored by 12 different players.

Miami is now tied for the basement in the AFC East. They haven’t been right since the whipping Buffalo put on them at the end of the 2020 season.

10-6 now seems like ages ago. :(

Bears looked good today, even tho it was vs the Lions. I didn't see Nagy anywhere near a laminated card, I hope that means what I think it does.

Arizona kicked our asses but good.

Rams looked terrible in all phases of the game.

Cooper Kupp looked like he was allergic to the ball.

:scream:
