Speaking strictly about the last five minutes of the game, I don't think the Lions couldn't have done anything else besides stop that one 50 yard throw to get them into the field goal position and even then, 66 yards could only happen to the Lions.
They are showing progress, but I'm still seeing Goff trying to load up and fire deep throws and he isn't that kind of quarterback.
The Bears have never fired a coach with more than a year remaining on his contract, and Nagy is signed through the 2022-23 season. I don't expect them to start now.
That said, I only saw highlights of the game, but holy shit, Fields was left out there to die and should not have started the second half. Put Foles' dumb, dead corpse out there and feed him to the wolves, instead of letting Fields develop David Carr-esque ghost pass rusher PTSD.
He ain't no Tom Brady, Bengal-land has been celebrating ever since the final gun win against those "Stealers" cheap-shot artists.

It was really the only play they had. Not enough draft capital to move up, no one on the roster capable of being the full time starter.
Fields stood in the pocket like.....like Foles would have. Way to move the pocket Nagy you asshat. I really wanna drive down there and shove that laminating machine straight up his ass.
Dan Orlovsky has it right. Nagy should be fired. But with the GM and owners we have, it probably wouldn't matter.
That was a Bears-like swing pass.
