Fields era just begin in Chicago?
Tyrod Taylor hurt. Some rookie named Davis Mills is in. If it's serious, do they activate Watson next week?
Also, Patriots pick off Zach Wilson 4 times.... in his first 10 passes, including his first 2.
Andy Dalton is out with a knee injury that, per the announcers, is making him walk ginger-ly
2 straight INT's for Burrow, including a pick-6 for Roquon Smith
Clearly, I am an idiot.
Bengals offense has been incredibly flat all day.
Why no one should ever take the pre-season seriously.
When it rains, it pours.
Is Burrow regressing? Been staring down receivers all day.
3rd straight INT for Burrow
He was bound to have a game like this
Then Fields returns the favor....
Maybe I’m less of an idiot than I thought...
Fields clearly isn’t ready.
Is any rookie QB ever ready in their first game?
Carson Wentz hurt?
Wentz dinged up again. His backup had never taken a regular season snap and was definitely not ready to run the two-minute drill. Is Wentz just snakebitten?
Tough day for my Rams in Indianapolis today.
Jalen Ramsey came through in the end after Aaron Donald knocked Wentz out. His replacement immediately threw a pick.
In the end it’s a road win, so I’ll take it.
Some come in more ready than others. He’ll eventually be really good, just hope he isn’t forced to start next week in Cleveland.
Buffalo is up 35-0 in Miami.
Who is Tua’s backup?
He’s definitely not the answer as a starter. I imagine Stephen Ross will start applying pressure for a Watson trade.
Watson won't be playing, but the Texans still have a day or so to sign another QB or two. They play this Thursday night. Mills will be the starter, Taylor is out for a bit with a hamstring injury, Watson is collecting his salary not practicing, and they don't even have a 3rd QB on the roster yet (after Watson). But someone will be Mills backup, someone they sign probably Monday to bring into camp.
